IPE Hyderabad: Admission 2026, Fees, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

I have rated below these business schools on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is the lowest rating and 10 is the highest:

1. ITM Navi Mumbai- 7
2. IPE Hyd- 6.5
3. IFIM Bangalore- 6

In terms of expenses, ITM Navi Mumbai is a bit less affordable than IPE Hyd for your PGDM. However, as a future manager in making, what you should consider is the ROI. 

Here are the course fee and placement details for PGDM at these institutions-

IFIM Bangalore offers an MBA with a course fee of INR 9 Lakhs. It also offers integrated- BBA+MBA and BCom+MBA.

For ITM Navi Mumbai, its proximity to Mumbai is a big advantage. Mumbai is the financial capital of India and has a bigger job market as compared to Hyderabad.

Therefore, for your PGDM, go for ITM Navi Mumbai.

One of my cousins was in a similar dilemma as she had to choose between IMT and IPE and after thorough analysis, she chose IMT Hyderabad. Here are a few reasons to support her decision 

IMT Hyderabad seemed better in every aspect especially the infrastructure and facilities

INT Hyderabad provides all its students with single rooms while IPE charges additional fees for the same.

• IMT Hyderabad is a new institute and yet has managed to secure an average package of INR 9.4 LPA. This shows its fast-paced development. IPE average package this year stood at INR 7.4 LPA
• IMT Hyderabad has stronger ties in the corporate world than IPE.
• IMT Hyderabad enjoys a better brand value than IPE which is not known among the masses much.
• The IPE selection process lacks transparency and many times students are given admission without even an interview. IMT Hyderabad on the other hand has a transparent selection process including a WAT and Critical Thinking Test along with Group Exercise followed by a Personal Interview. Such thorough filtration ensures a better crowd. 

So it can be said that IMT Hyderabad is a better choice than IPE considering its opportunities, infrastructure, and overall brand value.

It is recommended to consider other colleges in Hyderabad for your post-graduation in management. Woxsen has the best infrastructure among the three colleges you mentioned, IPE Hyderabad, IBS Hyderabad, and Woxsen but it also comes with a high cost. IPE is prestigious but might not provide the best return on investment. 

Colleges such as IMT, Ashoka School of Business (ASB), NMIMS, SIBM, and others offer a better return on investment with lower course fees of around INR 8–8.5 Lacs. The industry connect at Ashoka is excellent, and they have a number of industry professionals in the academic council to ensure the courses are aligned with industry needs and students receive proper grooming. This leads to lucrative placement opportunities. 

The fact that I don’t know anyone from IPE but many from IBS is enough to prove the brand name of IBS Hyderabad. To prove this further let’s compare the placement statistics of both the B Schools.

From the table, we can see that IBS has an upper hand in almost all aspects when compared to IPE. Today, its alumni hold top positions in Management because of the institute's legacy and reputation. More than 58000 graduates work around the world. Owing to its strong alumni network and corporate relations, IBS Hyderabad offers better placement opportunities than IPE. IPE on the other hand has below-average placement statistics and offers very few opportunities in the corporate sector. IPE has much lower fees compared to IBS but the opportunities offered at INS are worth the high fees. The money you will be investing in IBS Hyderabad will reap you benefits throughout your lifetime which is hardly possible in the case of a mediocre B School like IPE
