IMT Ghaziabad offers a variety of courses that cater to various specializations. These courses have been listed and explained in their order of preference PGDM Marketing/PGDM Full Time (Marketing): This is the most coveted program among IMT students mainly because today its alumni have acquired top positions in big firms. Other major reasons include top-notch faculty, great internship and placement opportunities in terms of role and CTC, IMT’s eligibility, and excellent performances in recognized marketing and strategy B Schools competitions. PGDM Finance/PGDM Full Time (Finance): This one is most suitable for aspirants who are interested in Finance. However, this program offers lesser opportunities than the Marketing program in terms of role and CTC. PGDM Full Time (Operations): This program offers opportunities similar to that of Finance. But the batch size of PGDM Operations is smaller than PGDM Finance, so it may be easier to secure an internship/final placement, but the opportunities come less compared to Finance. PGDM DCP: DCP or the Dual Country Program is for those who are keen to get international exposure. Compared to an MBA from a foreign university, this program is cheaper and yet offers an opportunity to explore a different culture and learn to make decisions in an international context. This is best suitable for those who are in the Marketing domain. PGDM Banking and Financial Services (PGDM-BFS): This program was launched in 2019 and is relatively newer. Great campus environment, one of the best campuses out of other b schools out there
Great placement opportunities , a lot of companies visiting the campus . The location is in delhi ncr so that is also great . Everything is nearby

Dislikes

Batch size is a bit large which definitely creates competition during placements

Internships Opportunities:

Some of the internship opportunities i can mention are , WIPRO tech - 1.25 Lakhs per month Marico - 1.75 lakhs per month Microsoft - 1.75 lakhs per month Pernord ricard - 2 lakhs per month Aditya birla fashion and retail - 1 lakh per month HDFC - 1.25 lakhs per month

Batch size is huge which makes a little difficulty during the placements

Their are almost 100+ companies that visits the campus for the summer internship process for example Adani, amazon, microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Pernod Ricard etc. the highest stipend stands at 4.5.lakhs for two months for the batch 23-25

Honest and crisp review for IMT.

Campus life is very fun and enjoyable moment .
Faculty is very nice and educated with good experience in the industry.

Placement committee is very rude with no 100% placements.

Main companies that come for recruitments are Marico, ITC, Wipro, Havells, Amazon, Flipkart and average stipend is Rs.80000. Most roles are into BFSI sector inclusing consulting, product management, etc.

I really liked the campus ecents that take place which are very engaging and entertaining.
I like the infrastructure of the college the mess the class rooms etc.

Since the college is in the NCR region the pollution is a major problem.

Various big companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Tata, Adani, Nivia, bank of america, Macquarie, bajaj capital, hdfc, hsbc, BNY Mellon. They offer quite stipend around 60k to 1.8 lakhs. The heights stipend offered was 2lakhs by Microsoft

Quality of food in the mess can be improved

There are ample internship opportunities available. There is something for every student. Companies from different sectors come for recruitment. The average stipend last year was Rs.1,05,000. Different roles are offered as well.

Essentials of IMT Ghaziabad from a student's perspective

Great faculty and seniors. Nice green campus
Stupendous library with lots of books, newspapers

Hostel food quality can be improved further
The water cooler jams sometimes and there are pigeons on the campus

The internship opportunities are ample. No student remains unplaced for a summer internship and the average stipend is around 1 lakh for the period of 2 months. Around 150 companies come for a summer placement.

Based on NIRF ranking, IMT Ghaziabad is ranked 38th in the Management category. And, speaking of world ranking, based on QS World Business Master's 2024, IMT Ghaziabad entered the rankings for the first time, securing a position within 151+ band for Masters in Management, Masters in Marketing, and Masters in Finance programs.
