IITM Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The Placements were good in IITM Janakpuri . The highest salary in my batch was offered about 14lpa and the average ranges arounf 6-7lpa. I didnt opt for placement because i want to do masters after my Bachelors but the my destiny didnt travelled along.

The last year students are eligible for placement, in semesters 5and 6 the companies start coming for placment where you can sit for it and get a job, mostly companies are sales companies and it depening on your department

I rate full in this course because this course very good and teaches us many languages of computer that develops the knowledge of students that makes them to develop their skills to have good internship

The relevance and comprehensiveness of BCA curriculum can very depending on our university. Our college provides core computer science subjects , Advanced and industry oriented topics also teaches mathematical and logical reasoning.

The course is relevant to computer science as the topics subjects are mostly of coding and practical labs but the comprehensiveness is still missing as i feel in our course we are only taught about the basics and the advance level

The course structure is average exams are theory based and not practical based and you can even get above 60 percent by just studying one night before the exams and exams are super easy. The frequency of test are really less due to ongoing events and external exams

As a commerce field background student i always thought that i can pursue only management but BCA gave me option to start exploring the field of the computer application In this course there should be less of theory and some more logical subject Exams are moderate level

We as an undergaduate is eligible for an interview in 5th sem i.e, final year . Since various companies hire student enrolled in final year as per the companies requirements and eligibility criteria. I got an offer from wipro with 3.02 LPA though they were offering the role of Business Associate a great opportunity for an undergraduate to be a part of such a renowned company . Many more companies arrived like infosys with a package of 2.12 LPA offering the role of system associate , SAP came offering the role of Software Engineer with 3.12 LPA with an integrated degree program to do MCA and Mtech from BITS , Pilani . The largest package was offered by CISCO of nearly about 22LPA offering the role of Project Specialist in Bengaluru .

Curriculum can be improved. As it has been updatedd this year for new admissions. For real life the curriculum is not too much relevent. Exams are held with a gap of 2 3 days. Which is good Curriculum is not according to latest requirements of the industry

The college is for the ones who want to study without caring about the campus, The college focuses on theoretical as well as practical learning which makes the student understand every single topic so it also helps them to prepare themselves to make real word applications from the first sem itself
