The Placements were good in IITM Janakpuri . The highest salary in my batch was offered about 14lpa and the average ranges arounf 6-7lpa. I didnt opt for placement because i want to do masters after my Bachelors but the my destiny didnt travelled along.

We as an undergaduate is eligible for an interview in 5th sem i.e, final year . Since various companies hire student enrolled in final year as per the companies requirements and eligibility criteria. I got an offer from wipro with 3.02 LPA though they were offering the role of Business Associate a great opportunity for an undergraduate to be a part of such a renowned company . Many more companies arrived like infosys with a package of 2.12 LPA offering the role of system associate , SAP came offering the role of Software Engineer with 3.12 LPA with an integrated degree program to do MCA and Mtech from BITS , Pilani . The largest package was offered by CISCO of nearly about 22LPA offering the role of Project Specialist in Bengaluru .

There are placements but the placement board showing 90% or 100% placements is kind of misleading, first of all not all students are allowed to sit in placements. Second, details should be more clear that If a student gets placed and looses his job in the next 2-3 months it shouldn't be considered and placement at college campus itself shouldn't be counted.

From 3rd semester internships is been offered to the studentsa and from the 3rd year various amount of placements is been offered to the the students of the college. The Companies which provide placement are Amazon.in, Deloitte, HDFC BANK, capgemini technologies. and much motr. There are lot of programmes which held in college such as Case studies + sapiens, internware, umunng etc. percentage of students is about 60-75%. My plan after graduate degree is to give CAT exams and Apply for various universities duch As IIM. Or opt for any private university to pursue Mba.

students typpically become eligible for campus placements from their 6th semester of the BCA program.
some of the companies that have previously made offers are- TCS(made 25 offers)
,infosys(made 20 offers),wipro (made 18 offers) HCL tech.(made 15 offers),cognizant (made 12 offers) etc. and all these offered numerous profiles i.e- software developer,system analyst,it analyst, sofware engineer, technical support, network engineer etc. all in all the approximate placement rate is 85%. the highest package secured has been of 7LPA and the lowest have been 3LPA to 4LPA.as far as i am concerned i am only in my second year right now. though i do plan to persue MCA too and then take a job.
