Placement opportunities are good; top companies, including the big 4, are recruiting students from gnc.
There are special benefits to sc candidates in finding scholarships.
They always ready to helps us..and the faculty helps the students to learn new course that help us to develop our knowledge...every student have there own mentor staff that's really good thing they helps us with any kind of problem..

Dislikes

No protest can be college is strictly not agree
The college was good but sometime we missed our id card at home so they can allow you after the thorough check that would irritates you.
College fees is getting increased year by year that is the most disappointing thing in the college

Good not bad

Likes

I like a peaceful environment surrounded with trees and birds
Yes the campus life is good and friendly
Having a spacious class room with good ventilation

Dislikes

Unhygienic bathroom have to clean it daily
Not all the food are in the canteen are not good
Improve a drink water facilities and have to clean

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students are eligible for the placement.For tha placement the students should not have any arrears.the TCS,WIPRO and dlf like the company visit our college to hire the students and the highest package of the students who selected to the TCS company is 30LPA

our syllabus not upto the mark they have some outdated technology in the syllabus and also they provide only theritical knowledge . They have to improve syllabus . frequency of exam is manageable and also it's easy to crack.

The Good College

Likes

The staffs are all very welcoming to teach us.
All the students are really friendly and fun to be with.
The college itself is a good atmosphere to be at.

Dislikes

There is no sales of plastic water bottle, that is a good thing but no water still.
They could use a new coat of paint for the whole college.

Placement Experience:

According to the college they have mentioned to us is that once we are done with our 3years course there will be placement for everyone for sure with a minimum salary of ?30,000 for a good candidate from Gurunanak.

I liked the way that teachers talking with students
I like the environment of clg its very nice
Security is very tight i like it very much

Dislikes

Every day guards asking for id card but why
College has no water facilities dail buy 1 bottle
Canteen food is expensive compare with taste

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement one company is giving 2 lac for per annual My plans after getting degree that i will go for post graduation because after 2 degree you can get a good package salary

An honest review of GNC

Likes

Most of the teachers are well knowledgeable and professional.
Frequent parent - teachers meet to discuss the students behaviour and academics performances.

Dislikes

Too much importance on attendance. If you are under 75% for the semester then you have to pay 2000rs to write the exams
Lack of drinking water facilities. The outdoor facilities are often occupied by monkeys
Lack of trips and fests for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course, the amount of memorizing content is a lot while also having enough room to for the critical thinking. Most of the useful courses are in the final year which might strain the student a bit. The exams are fairly easy and relevant to the study materials.

A true face of guru nanak college

Likes

There are 3 canteens which has both veg and non veg dishes
There is not much strict rules comparing to other colleges
For shift 1 students they are not asking more fees

Dislikes

Price of food is too much and quantities are less
Fess for exams are asking seperately in third year
For even semester every Saturday is a working day

I have took computer science group in my 12th standard so I decided to join in bachelor of computer application group and I can prepare for real world applications or further academic pursuits with the help of my faculties Time for every exams is among 3 hours which includes question paper distribution

Campus Environment and the way the college is constructed
Some teachers who were very friendly even though I was not their department student and also they are not my teaching faculty.. specially my department faculties who were very keen to encourage students despite facing many internal politics..
Conducting Assembly and encouraging students to focus on all aspects other than studying by giving different prizes to the winners of different competitions

Dislikes

Only the department with the highest Students get the chance to conduct assembly every week .. other departments are sometimes isolated in the college ..
Department with highest population and faculties with higher qualification highly dominate the department with less students strength... They were given special attention or priorities in all college activities..

Placement Experience:

Students are prepared for placements from 5th semester, they are given proper training and counseling by the placement coordinators of the college and also from the alumnis who have been selected in placements from studying in this college.. they are called to give a lecture based on their experiences and how they are selected.. Companies such as Accenture, TCS , are encouraging students with placement offers based on certain eligibility criteria .. Many students are rejected from placement opportunities because of their arrears.. sometimes students who are really capable are also getting affected when they are absent for semester due to a genuine reason but they are marked as arrears and cannot apply for placement .. My plans after getting degree is to pursue a Master's degree..
