FMS Delhi Summer Placement 2025 has been conducted successfully. The placement drive witnessed the placement of 268 students. 89 companies participated in the drive, offering 274 job offers. A total of 12 students were on a placement holiday. The average stipend offered was INR 2.68 lakhs while the median package stood at INR 3 lakhs. FMS has been successfully getting 100% placements throughout the years and we're hoping for the same this year, it's hard to say for sure because every B-School has taken a hit in their placement stats this year, given the grim market conditions.

The campus placements are great at FMS Delhi. Almost all good companies visit the campus for recruitment. In the very first semester, companies visit for the summer placement process where the average stipend this year was 1.5 lakh/per month and the highest stipend was 2.2 lakhs per month. Also, there are final placements conducted where the median package is around 30 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes above 60 lakhs per annum. Talking about the percentage of placements, all the students are placed in the companies visiting the campus and the placement record is 100% till now.

ISB caters to working professionals with more than 2 years of experience. If you do not belong to this category, this institution is not for you.

Now coming to the other options,

The HR program of XLRI is very old and renowned. Because of it, XLRI receives a slightly higher number of recruiters. This boosts its average package. Its limited batch size also benefits its placements. IIMK, FMS and XLRI receive more or less the same companies. But IIMK and XLRI attract MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) for their front end roles, which IIMI and FMS do not.

Considering all these factors, XLRI is the best choice, mainly because of its small batch size. It is followed by IIMK and FMS, and IIM Indore comes last.

Job and career prospects are relative terms, which depend a lot on any individual. Both IIMs and FMS is reputed college for MBA but FMS is comparable to top IIMs, the new IIMs are not that par with the FMS. The placement of FMS is quite high and matches that of BLACKI( Top 6 IIMs). If I compare top IIMs with FMS, I would say IIMs have a better name than FMS, so growing up the ladder in your career is more when you pass from a top IIM. As the alumni base of an IIM is more than that of an FMS. So according to me 5 years down the line, a top IIM guy will be in a better position.

The average package of FMS is around 34 LPA, and in terms of ROI, no other institute comes even closer. FMS might be called a low-cost agency, but Companies don’t recruit students and pay them a hefty amount if it isn’t for their talent and potential.

FMS has a rich legacy; it started in the year 1954, which makes it older than the first few IIMs. It’s situated in the heart of Delhi. The whole north campus will feel like home to you. It’s strange that despite not having a great campus, FMS Delhi will provide you with one of the best campus experiences.

IIFT average stipend for summer placements. 2.04 lakhs and median stipend of 2 lakhs whereas there has been a rise of 14% in the average stipend at FMS to 3.02 lakhs and an increase in median stipend by 15% to 3 lakhs.
