My life at NITHM.

Likes

I liked the Ambience very much, it is situated in a 25 acre area almost. Surrounded by nature. It is very peaceful
Course study, syllabus, and extra curriculars.
Teaching methods and lecturers were very helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

College is very strict for its timely fees payments.But with a written letter and approval you can get a grace period to pay it.

I've actually applied for only 2 colleges before, and even for accepted with a free seat in one of them. But I wanted to pursue my passion for travel and hospitality. So I joined here, as I already had seen the college beforehand and knew about it through a friend who became my senior in the college.

Admission:

Student of any passout degree from any field is eligible for this college and degree. Also, I had above 50% in 12th std. Anyone can find bout this college details and admission dates on their official website www.nithm.ac.in. They also have their pages on Facebook and Instagram. They took a small test and then sent me for the interview. The test was normal to hard for me. They had asked questions regarding English, maths, logic, GK, current affairs, and aptitude, mostly mcqs. Out of 200, the cut-off was 140. Here's how I was selected. There was no such reservation facility while selecting students. Overall, I liked their selection process and I would like no further changes in their admission process.

I was Shortlisted on the basis of performance in UGAT and then called for Interview at NITHM campus. minimum eligibility criteria are Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC ) examination,(10+2) or any other equivalent examination with minimum 50% of Marks.
