There are so much extra-curriculam activities have done in my college. For example- Youth festival etc. The advantage of NCC is also available in my college. And there are so many extra activities like bhangra, folk dance and games etc.

I will choose this course because I will do my 12th with non-medical and I have a keen interest in mathematics and also I want to become a mathematics lecturer. So that's why I will choose this course. there are approximately 140 students in our class. The teaching staff is very nice to the students and all the teachers have done PHD in their relevant subject and their teaching method is very simple. The term exams are semester wise like after 6 months we have to give exams. and the level of exams is moderate.

Total three year course. Six semesters are there in three years. After one semester,exams are conducted. Faculty of govt College is lineant to students. They work hard to improve student's performance and help weak students in studies.

You should have to know that our former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh also had studied in our college and even he was professor in our college too. Every year various students perform their best in the government exams and get placed in various universities as assistant professor and also got jobs in various government departments too.

This is the college to pursue your graduation from as this is a government college so there are teachers who are very well trained and supportive.The fees will not burn a hole in your parents pocket and you will enjoy at the same time.

The admissions are absolutely merit based. The conditions of admission are in accordance with the Panjab University. While your selection is merit based, the combination of your courses are your choice however, if you are planning to go for subjects such as Computer science, you must make sure to get them first due to limited seats availability. The Govt College is an academic oriented Institute that would give you enough benefits in the acadmic field. The ECA activities need attention but, I think the college is working on those issues seriously.

For pursuing BA, students must have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with 50% aggregate marks. College select students through preparing the merit list. My name was there in the first shortlist. After that, I appeared at the university for the documentation process.

I want to become an IAS officer since childhood. Hence after completing 12th, everyone advised me to take arts stream and prepare for the exams. So, I selected one of the best college in Punjab for my graduation named as Govt College situated in hoshiarpur Punjab. The admission is totally on merit basis.
