Reality of CMS

Likes

teachers, the technology and the overall environment
the wifi is very fast and the computer were upto date

Dislikes

the campus is way too small with no canteen and no car parking

Admission:

CMS is way more lenient than Christ University Christ as you know, they are very strict in their discipline code. You can't grow a beard or your hair. you have to come wearing a formal dress code and their attendance is very high compared to CMS even though CMS campus is very small the friends you get there is way better than Chris

ABHIVEER'S CRAZY FRESHER EXPERIENCE

Likes

i like the atmosphere here, as i have been able to find friends who think similar to me
the timings are really good of the college, this helps me to find time for other things
the teachers are really interactive and fun, not very serious

Dislikes

the management faculty. the members from the exam dept and reciptionists are really rude and get pissed off real soon
i dont think the fees is worth the facilities we are being offered as the fan doesnt work in our class and stuff, lot of miicro problems
car parking area is very small compared to the no of students

Admission:

the reason i chose this college is due to its timing and its programs. i applied to nmims, jain unniversity, masters union and symbiosis. i got into all of them but i decided to come to cms as it was in bangalore and its timings. the admission process consists of an exam and an interview

Beyond the brochure

Likes

The fests, teams, clubs, events are great in our college which help us gain praftical knowledge and build our network. There are 4 main fests hosted by CMS and we even participate in different fest across Bangalore which helps us a lot.
There are various activities and presentations that take place in class which helps us gain practical knowledge and mentors us for future.
Internship opportunities provided by college is great because it helps us enter the corporate world even before graduating.

Dislikes

There's no campus for the Student to explore, it's just one building which is not so exciting.
There are no field trips or anything in that sense for the students so they end up staying in class the whole day.

Admission:

I applied to Symbiosis, NMIMS, IIM Indore, St Xavier's and XIM and I chose CMS because of the location, the college hours and the fests that happens in this college. Though I didn't get admission in IIM Indore otherwise I would I have chose that over everything cuz hello?

My collage offers dual program where you can choose from a variety of foreign courses or you can opt for CA coaching as well
My collage offers internship opportunities by bringing in companies at the internship fair as well as they get us notified through email when any new company comes in for internship.
It conducts toast masters for developing our communication skills for which they also give us certificate.

Dislikes

There is no campus as such all we have is a building.
There is no parking space available for cars.
Some of the faculties are really rude and all they care about is finishing the syllabus.

Admission:

I have only applied for christ other than jain for which i passed the online test but couldn't pass the person interview round. Still they offered me admission in their yeswanthapur campus which was a new campus back then. I refused the offer since i wanted admission in the central campus. By then i was offered admission by jain by clearing the online test and personal interview round, and as i have heard really good about this college so i got into jain. For getting into my collage one should score above 50% in their 12 boards exam or PUC exams. After that they should pass the online aptitude test and clear the personal interview round, then they will be offered the admission letter for which they have pay the firsr year fees within 7 days failing to which their admission letter will be withdrawn.

Likes

The things I like about my clg is that they offer many activities.
There are many clubs in which we can engage and can improve our speaking and listening skills.
The timings of this college is very flexible.

Dislikes

The things I don't about my clg is that they don't have a ground.

Good placements provide by college by the end of the year you will be prepare for the placement many reputed companies comes like JP Morgan Google etc and the starting package will be 350000. And it's goes upto 15 lakhs if you are not ready for that
Good internship will be provided when you are in second year many reputed companies comes for placement 50+companies used to come for intership and you will get opportunity to choose more than 2 companies it will beneficsl for students to learn new t
Having a lots of forum and clubs you will get a chance to participate in lots of clubs and forums cms provide a toastmasters platform that will definitely help to get good in your communication and also many clubs that will help in future and you

Dislikes

About the infrastructure the college have only one buliding
In second year the college timings is from 9 and in 3rd year it's from 8
Nothing but you should be good in studies and score good cgpa

Admission:

I choose this college over the others colleges because the syllabus they provide and the clubs and forms they provide overall you will get various of course you can choose here and you can take participation in many forms I applied to Christ and in cms I got confirmed addmission I didn't get any rejection but the course I want was only available in jain with many opportunities The addmission process for the cms is they have there own entrance test know as Jet and also a personal interview it is easy to pass once you know the logic

Life in CMS, jain university

Likes

the engagement of students and faculty. everyone is very helpful
the exposure is great in this college. it provies alot of new opportunities
it has toastmasters which is great for students

Dislikes

the campus is pretty small, there is no campus life as such

every college has its own pros and cons and this college also has it. the campus life is pretty small. i had applied to christ university in Bangalore but getting in is very difficult there. the class size of jain university is pretty more than christ

The college timings are good it is flexible to work after college also that makes it better
The course structure is good subjects keep changing every semester for you to experience different fields
You can opt for specailization and it will help you to understand what is good for you

Dislikes

The course is very generic like Hr there is nothing to learn from the course
The college and crowd is very low like every has there own groups and no one would mingle with you
The college is called as jain college but has very less hindu festivals given

Admission:

I tried to Christ university and luckily I got my name in the first list third number, but the main problem why I didn't opt for Christ was at college was very far and it didn't make sense because the college timing book me. I wanted to continue my internship and Jain University had the best timings.

Honest review on Cmsju as a Nri

Likes

Industry visits. These are the best parts of college don’t miss out. They took us to BAMUL and diary day factories.
Multiple business related clubs- finance, marketing. The selection process for all clubs are pretty tough though.
Every year they host events for international students. I look forward to this all year. You can meet people from all over the world and different cultures

Dislikes

Environment and crowd. I don’t feel like I fit in tbf. Majority of the students are marwadi, Jain and the locals.
No campus. We just have one building with 6 floors, it’s like a little office.
You have to pay for EVERYTHING. CMS cup is a sports fest that happens every year, to participate in anything you gotta pay.

Admission:

The admission process for international students is easy. You will be assigned a counsellor who will help you with the admission process. She'll tell you all the requirements etc. I only gave a personal interview and got in. If you're an international student, you're getting a seat for sure. Domestic students have to take an entrance exam and take a PI.

About the CMS College life

Likes

There are good professor that helps you in advanced knowledge
The activity are more that will help you build outside world knowledge
They have many clubs that one can choose from to go forward in and improve their skills.

Dislikes

The campus is literally Just a building and doesnt have much facilities
They are to much on attendance for internal exam but make it up in finals
Some of the professors are cruel too even notice or help you

Admission:

My course has eligibility of 85% around and it is easy now a days to get that much . I didnt recieve any reservation in my admission. The application form is also just some normal form to fill and not much they have aptitude test and then interview for the admissions process
