Center for Management Studies (CMS) is the management wing of the prestigious Jain University, Bangalore. It was established in 1991. The college currently offers a Corporate BBA program and a BA program in Journalism and Mass Communication at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, Center for Management Studies offers MBA program in several specializations in addition to MA Economics & MA Journalism.
- For the session, the application process for the PG courses commences from January.
- Only online mode of application & fee payment is accepted for admission to courses offered by the college.
- It is mandatory for all candidates (except MBA) to take the Jain Entrance Test (JET) in the initial phase of selection conducted by Jain University.
- MBA candidates (CET/ JET qualified) must partake in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview sessions conducted by the University.
- The University also accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and GMAT scores for admission in MBA.
- International candidates must download the application and send the duly filled form along with a DD of US Dollar 50 to the institute within the prescribed application dates.

Center for Management Studies, Jain University offers a Corporate BBA program in four specializations and a BA program in Journalism & Mass Communication at the undergraduate level. Students opting for BBA Dual qualification can take up either of the specializations, Practical Finance, Practical Marketing, Practical HR, Family Managed Business, Entrepreneurship and Event Management.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the UG programs offered by CMS, Jain University is a pass in class XII/ Pre-University/ equivalent exam in any discipline. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of their performance in the Jain Entrance Test.
Candidates seeking admission to either of the UG programs may visit the institute website and fill the online application form. The application fee can be paid using online payment modes, which is credit/ debit card or net banking. No other mode of application and fee payment is accepted unless the application is a foreign national, in which case offline applications only are accepted.

Key Points for UG Admission:
- There are no minimum marks eligibility criteria for the UG program.
- However, candidates must pass in all the subjects in Class XII final exam.
- The duration of the Jain Entrance Test is two hours. The test comprises of questions aggregating 100 marks.

Center for Management Studies, Jain University offers two Master’s in Arts (MA) courses at the postgraduate level in two specializations. Commerce graduates or any Bachelor’s degree holder with Economics/ allied subject in graduation are eligible to pursue the MA Economics program.
For admission to the MA J&M program, Bachelor’s degree holders in the relevant subject(s) are given preference. Selection of candidates for both the programs is through the Jain Entrance Test (JET).
Prospective candidates may visit the Jain University website and fill the online application form. The application fee for PG courses can be paid using online mode via bank cards or internet banking. Foreign/ NRI/ Person of Indian Origin candidates must download the application form and send a filled in copy of the same along with a DD for the prescribed application fee to the institute.

- BA Journalism & Mass Communication degree holders are given the first preference although any graduate can apply for the MA J&M program.
- Candidates with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Accountancy/ any other allied subject in Graduation are eligible to apply for the MA economics program.

Center for Management Studies, Jain University offers MBA programs in the disciplines of Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource. Candidates can also opt for MBA Dual specializations with the combination of specializations:
- Marketing + Finance
- Marketing + Human Resource Management
- Finance + Human Resource Management
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA programs is a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline from a recognized institute or university. Candidates are further required to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying exam.
Selection of candidates is done on the basis of JET (Jain Entrance Test) score, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Only Online Applications are accepted for MBA admissions. The application fee for JET Exam for MBA is INR 1050 which can be submitted using online payment modes.
Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of their relevant documents, including CET score card such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT while filling the online application form.

Center for Management Studies, Jain University accepts applications from eligible candidates through online mode only. No other mode of application is recognized by the institute. Prospective candidates can visit the institute website and follow the below steps to apply online:
- Visit the official website of CMS, Jain University.
- Click on “Apply Now” and create a new account as a new user.
- After creating the account, the applicant can log on to the online application portal by using his/ her email id and password.
- All relevant columns in the application form must be filled. Incomplete applications won’t be considered for admission.
- Once the application form has been filled, the candidate is required to upload his/ her documents before proceeding to make the application fee payment.
- The application fee can be paid using credit/ debit card or net banking.
- After successful submission of application form and payment of application fee, a unique Application Number is generated.
- Candidates must quote this Application number on any communication made with the institute.
