Aspirants seeking admission to 3-year Full-time B.Sc. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate must be XII passed or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (condition not applicable for students of Kohima Science College) and with the following conditions if an applicant wishes to take up Honours subject:

45% in the subject in which one desires to take up Honours.
45% in Biology to take up Honours in Botany or Zoology.
45% in the aggregate to take up honours in a subject not available at the + 2 or equivalent level.

We pay admission fees twice a year that is for 2 semesters Main hostellers pay an additional fee of approximately rupees 3000 per semester There arw no other additional fees to be paid since it is a government college and the other fees are covered by the government itselves

In our college that is Kohima Science College, we had two semester in a year admission fees for odd semester is more than the even semester the difference is around 4000 approximate including the hostel fees.

In a year we have two semester each of 6 months and the admission is around 8000 to 9000 per semester and including hostel we spend around 10000 per month which approximate the sum as around 70000 per semester

Evaluating 3 years of my college life

Fees and Financial Aid:

Our college is an autonomous college and we have 2 semesters in a year.We pay approximately approximately 30 thousands in a semester including both college and hostel fees. And We get an annual scholarship of ?9000.The fees keep on increasing on a yearly basis.

The tution fee is a little high for a government colleges.and the scholarships provided to the students of government colleges are very low. They provides only 4k-5k or Even below that amount for government school students .
