There are well opportunities available for the students studying here. From clerk staff to research associate officials there are options available to all levels. One can apply online.There are options for the students to apply for the fellowship for which the students can get 5500 as stipend. For scientists in grades such as B, C, D, the approx. salary is Rs 5 lakh to Rs 6.5Lakh. Training Module helps in career improvement with promotion scheme. This leads to medical facilities, Pension benefits, transport services, canteen services etc.

The jobs were arranged at the end of last year where we could apply for the government functions like storm prediction agency, rainfall and precipitation. On the basis of merit and almost all the students got placed with an average package of Rs.15,00,000 per annum.

In my view, placement and employment are not in that mark. Various private companies come, but they are not offered to suit the interests of the candidates. Yes, the institute conducts various internship programs. Most of them are fully sponsored by the ministry (such as mine, MoEF & CC). So candidates do not have to pay any amount. It's totally free.

I think it would be right for me to say that there are around nil chances of you getting placed from there, according to their own college site, only one company visited their college last year and also selected only handful number of students. So you have to fetch for your own.
