Eligibility Criteria
The aspiorants for these courses must pass Higher Secondary/its equivalent examination (10+2) with at least 4 (Four) academic subjects including English as a compulsory subject but excluding EVS.
- Those candidates who would obtain either (i) 55% marks in the aggregate or (ii) 50% in the aggregate with 60% marks in the subject in the qualifying examinations shall be eligible to apply for admission to Honours course in the subject concerned. Admission to a course shall be subject to availability of seats and based on merit.
- Provided that for SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be (i) 50% marks in the aggregate or (ii) 45% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject for admission to Honours course in the subject concerned.
- In the matter of eligibility to apply for admission to Honours courses 54.5% marks or above shall be treated as 55% marks, 49.5% or above shall be treated as 50% and 59,5% marks or above shall be treated as 60%.
Admission Guidelines
Merit List: The college will publish a Merit List on the basis of the results of the applicants in the H.S./equivalent examination and according to the norms prescribed by the University of North Bengal. The Merit List will be displayed on the College Notice Board.

Being a B.com Hons in accountancy student i really thought this course will be helpful for me getting better knowledge about the business world but infact it left me confused. This might not be the case for everyone. The curriculum is pretty basic but if done from a great college will enhance it's further academic pursuits.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The exams are held in every 6 months and the most difficult phase is the 2nd year examination as it consists of the most difficult subjects. The teachers should also teach out the box so that the students can handle real life situations. This course prepares us theoretically for the outside world but practically it's nothing.

I have to opt For Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Siliguri College of Commerce because Siliguri College of Commerce is best for b.com Hons. Siliguri as it has affiliated with North Bengal University and ut has also NAAC Accredited "B+ Grade). It has a sex ratio of male and female 6:4.

I have Choosen B.com (honours) as because i had interest in commerce field. Normally there are around 80-85 Students in our class but only 30-35 students attend the classes regularly. The teachers are well qualified and have great experience. Some teachers have been serving inour Colleges since 20 Years.

I rarely Went to College as i dedicated most of my time to prepare for CA but every time i went there were not more than 40 students in a class of 90. Most of the students were either preparing for a professional exam like me or were working for a part-time job. The teachers are highly qualified and they teach in such a way that every student understands. They mostly use Hindi as a medium of Communication followed by English and Bengali. The exams were not too tough to pass, but scoring above 90% was challenging.

It basically offers 3 courses - B.Com General, B.Com Honours, BBA. It has its own NCC and NSS group which is the best in the city. Timing for B.Com General and B.Com Honours are from 5:30 pm to 9:15 pm and timing for BBA honours is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The student-teacher ratio is 80:1.

There are around 80-90 students in our class which makes the student-faculty ratio is 80:1. The teachers are highly qualified and use Hindi, English, Bengali to teach. The Exams are held every 6 months (Semester wise). The Exams are quite tough and are difficult to get high marks.

Fee Structure is very nominal.each section of society can pay well. Different course have different fee.It is very feasible.It also provides for fee break down we can pay in installments also.cheque cash cards all are accepted.Apart from fees they only charge for school uniform and annual maintenance.No extra fees required.No commission no black marketing
