I chose this course because I was interested in management and finance so I chose BMS and selected finance in my 3rd sem as my major. Faculty are quite good and qualified most of my faculties were CA to teach us accounts and the teaching method is also great it practical and faculties provide us with practical examples and also play games with us on various study topics. Every faculty teaches different subjects and one faculty handles around 60 students in one classroom. Next about the exams which are very easy and it's not a big thing to pass if you have studied well questions are given from what the faculty has taught us.
The campus placements are very well. Firms like Wipro n all come in the college for the placements. The students are selected on the best interviews given by them and also ofcourse on the merits also the college is very supportive during your internship time.
The college is very good the college staff is always supportive and helpful like the manganmet is the best which I have seen
All that which is said above defines what SIES CE as an institute holds up for future upcoming batches. The college has a little of space constraint which would be filled if the neighbouring ground is being taken under consideration by the college.
Maintaining a 75% attendance as per university rules is mandatory. Many other colleges are not strict in terms of attendance. If you don't maintain attendance above 50% you will be debarred from attending the internal examination and have to face severe consequences. The college has 6 floors but doesn't let its students use the lift. And self finance classes mostly happen on the 5th/6th floor. The canteen is also very small and the contractor keeps on changing, the menu is very restricted. Anyways you have quite a few options for eateries outside the college.
No entrance exams as such for BMS, After my HSC board i applied in SIES because its in the top 10 colleges in mumbai.
Admission is based on 12th std Scores, with average cut off of 80% for BMS. While much lesser for BCOM. BMS is well diversified course giving much broader knowledge regarding various subjects when compared to any other courses.
