The admission process was based on an entrance exam called NPAT which included logical reasoning, quantitative mathematics and english skills. The difficulty level is moderate. The application form was available in the college website itself and the eligibility of the course was 60% in class 12 board examinations. The application fees is Rs 2000. The admission on the basis of entrance exam is based on merit ranking. The frequency and timings of the exam was quite flexible as there were many exam centres near my location offering to conduct the exam.
I am currently in the 2nd year of my BBA degree at ASMOC NMIMS University, Mumbai. I applied to 3 universities last year ASMSOC NMIMS, Symbiosis and Christ for a BBA degree. I got selected in NMIMS which was my first preference. My NPAT rank was 1112, and we were required to pay the fees in 10 to 15 days. There was no interview around here like most of the other universities. The fees charged was Rs 302000 which is different for every year and there was no consideration given to the COVID-19 and we were charged such an exorbitant amount despite everything being conducted online. The faculty is excellent. The subjects, course outlines and everything are very good compared to other colleges. There are also a lot of clubs one can join.
I had applied to DU, Christ Bangalore, NIIT, NMIMS Mumbai, the reason for not attending is that I came to a conclusion that NMIMS was overall better for the course I'm applying as it is a prestigious B-School. The admission process for my course consisted of an entrance exam, previous academic performance and some colleges had GD/PI as their final stage too. Minimum makes varied from college to college, but the minimum age was pretty similar, ranging between 16-17 years. The admission process at NMIMS was pretty tough as the exam itself is one of the hardest.
The college is one of the premier institutes in the country and the thing that attracted me the most was the excellent NAAC ratings and the fantastic growth opportunities it had to offer. I researched the syllabus and found out to be very in-depth and to the point. After talking to some alumni and to some students studying there, I got a very good review and mostly positive response about the culture there. Also attractive was the city it is based in - Mumbai.
It is one of the best institutions on Mumbai and is known for its quality of education. I loved the course structure and I've also been in contact with aluminis of the college. Their development was quite remarkable which made me like the school even more
NMIMS is a huge brand and hence it was easy to opt for this college. Its reputation is very good. Along with that the infrastructure also seemed attractive. The faculty is also highly qualified. Apart from this, its proximity to my house also made it a very convenient option. It also conducts various events and activities all throughout the year giving us students the best exposure.
It is the best college for BBA in India after Shaheed Sukhdev(DU) and plus this college even specialises in this course. Moreover, the placements are extremely good averaging out at Rs. 5 Lacs, which is quite high as compared to other colleges in India.
Rank, faculty, quality. I mean there are only so many so option in India so if we're getting the top ranked uni then why not? The way that they prepare you for corporate world is really commendable. No doubt the attendance and academic pressure is a lot
I was studying in mithibai and through that i got to know about NMIMS and through friends referralI opted the course thinking that it wolves help me in understanding concepts which would be helpful when i join family business
Nmims is a well reputed college, and I've been hearing it's praises since i was in school. Many of my seniors have attended the college, and even they always spoke about the placement opportunities that you're presented with after your graduation. After my boards, i started researching about various colleges, but nmims was the best match as it provides you with great courses and a great learning opportunities, and really prepares you for the corporate world.
