The institution offers a mixed faculty experience. While some instructors are highly approachable and provide excellent guidance, others are more average in their approach, with a few holding PhDs or pursuing them. Most faculty members are M.Tech holders, primarily Assistant Professors with 2-6 years of experience, and many are new to the institute. Senior faculty are particularly noted for their mentorship. In the first year, the faculty is predominantly from the mathematics, physics, and chemistry departments, with most holding master’s degrees and some pursuing or having completed PhDs.

The student-to-teacher ratio is well maintained, fostering a positive classroom environment. The college has a robust placement process, with major recruiters like Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys. The average placement package is around 6 lakhs, with the highest being 18 lakhs from the C.Tech department. Placement eligibility begins in the 7th semester, and the 8th semester is dedicated to mandatory internships. Internships are available from the 5th semester onwards, facilitated by the T&P Cell.

Students must also complete major projects for graduation. The first-year tuition fee for open category students in 2023-24 is about Rs. 173,601, with a hostel fee of around Rs. 100,000. Fees reduce to about Rs. 80,000 in subsequent years. SC students' fees range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000, with ST students paying even less. Scholarships provide a 50% waiver on exam form fees for SC, ST, EWS, and OBS students, with scholarship amounts varying by category.
