What is a lateral entry course and who qualifies for it?

Lateral entry refers to a student entering college in 2ndyear. This applies to students who have done a 1-year diploma in a particular field. Any student who has passed a diploma exam from a recognized institute with 50% marks in the relevant branch of engineering or technology is allowed to apply to these lateral entry courses offered by Trichy Engineering College.

Is there any relaxation for students having reservations?

My View for TEC

Likes

Faculty members are responsible with each and every students profile.
Campus interview are untertaken every by three months gap
Food and canteen are the best for the students.

Dislikes

The college was placed in long distance frm the city
College bus are not maintained properly with the condition
Frequent teaching staffs are changing .so the students can suffer.

Admission:

I was applied b.e computerscience and engineering in woraiyur branch (trichy engineering college) .which was known by my relatives and very famous person (periyavar) run the college especially for the people who are not able to pay the fee which is quit high .. so i have choosen this course in that college for a reason... Without any delay i have joined my course ..with partial payment. Easy admission process. Quit and lovely atmosphere . Hostel facility available near the college.

I liked the college atmosphere.and class rooms.
College canteen,and laboratory of using hours.
Rest room then if its not joke in the curriculum full of the trees so.

The rules and regulation of the physics department
I hate the physics laboratory it was very danger
I hate the maths department also.every hour scold to the students.

I apply on the councilling of anna university. No entrance exam it admission process based on cut off mark.all maths group student are eligible in the degree and application form,fees,date find the official website of anna university.

I choose Electrical and Electronics Engineering by Government Counselling and this department available in this college. Application fees and admission fees are low compared to other surrounding colleges that's why I choose this college. I attended the entrance exam after counseling and my hostel fees were reduced after that entrance exam.

The students should gave passed class 12th with 50% marks from a recognized board. 45%, 40% for backward and reserved category respectively. If you belong to any other category than SC/ST you need to have cleared the exam with a maximum of two attempts. The admission will be done on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and if the students clears the cut off he will have to attend the counselling session which is organised by the university.
