Along with these we have project expos to showcase projects developed by students with amazing prizes to encourage them.
I opted for this course as it was in good trend as well as best taught by the college.
Maximum students go for higher studies in foreign because most of the students in our college are super rich.

Dislikes

The lack of practical equipment such as high speed computers and digital meters are a necessary which is not up to the mark
The teaching staff should hire new staff as there is shortage in staff for labs related to programming
The washroom needs a update because it's having old Indian style washrooms

Placement is great in thadomal Shanani college
Facilities services are good and hygiene
Teacher's are good and excellent at there service

Dislikes

No ground for playing sports and no equipment
It is far from my home and travelling takes a lot of time
No event happen in college regarding cultural activities

Placement Experience:

Placement are good and average package is around 7 lpa and highest placement goes upto 19 Lpa . 90 percent of students get placed every year . A lot of companies visit the college like JP Morgan , Accenture, Deloitte

Likes

Management is nice the facilities and all are great there advice there support is great
Canteen food is amazing like you would love the food there and the service is also nice
College has a prime location we have 2 building one is old and another is new one

Dislikes

No campus is only a 7 floor building and only a 11 floor building nothing else 😂
Autos to station from evening are not easily available since from evening there's a lot demand to autos
One would hate that pan tapri at the turn there is something like you would feel shady a little

The teaching method is really great they are quite supportive with everything and it's like you would feel nice with the faculties depends how you behave but yes they are nice and curriculum is also the fine one

A very good option for B.E course

The faculty and staff of the college is top notch with a very good experience.The college is located in a very developed area in Bandra.All the amenities and other facilities are well available near the college area

Dislikes

The college has some cigarette shops outside their gates why impacts the health of students

Placement Experience:

Students can get internship from the 2nd year onwards.There are various multi national companies visiting the college like Oracle,JP Morgan,Deutsche Bank, Highest package offered is around 1.4cr inr per annum and average is 25 lpa inr.No of students getting placed is also quite high

A journey through College life

Likes

I like the vibe of the college. The people here are great. And very helpful.
The students are very supportive to each other
The faculty is great and really helpful to students

Dislikes

The sitting arrangement could have been better in canteen
We need to travel back and forth from one building to another as both the buildings arent connected.
The lift in the old bldg is very small and accomodates few people at a time

Placement Experience:

The placement is very great in Thadomal Shahani engineering college. The top placement companies come every year in clg to pick out students. And pick the best students out for interviews. We have companies like JP Morgan, Bercleys, Infosys arriving at our campus to give job opportunities. They offer around 40 packages for each company according to their requirements. The highest packages here have been around 30lakhs and we have an average package of 7lakhs My plans after graduating is to pursue a masters degree from abroad

Life at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College

Likes

The college infrastructure is extremely nice .There are 2 buildings,old and new.The auditorium is big as well with a nice feel.
The teaching faculty of my college is very experienced and helps the students a lot when it comes to learning and motivating them
The girls to boys Ratio is well balanced making it an ideal college for people irrespective of gender.

Dislikes

The college lifts are not well maintained
The canteen is very small with no proper food
There is no affordable stationary store nearby

The courses taught to me in computer engineering were very much relevant as they were related to data structures, algorithms , computer technologies and things that I can apply in my future jobs. So overall very good

The boys girls ratio is the biggest positive here it's almost 40-60
The faculties are highly skilled and helpful
The placements are too good here like almost 80 percent of students from comps it branch get placed.

Dislikes

No college campus area as such so you gotta go out of the college to explore.
The fees structure I believe is a bit too high .
There are only a few student committees.

Placement Experience:

The sole reason for me to choose this college was the placements. It's too good here. Like right now I'm in my final year and I'm already placed so yeah. For the computer engineering and it department the placement percentage is too good. However the students from other branches like artificial intelligence and data science, chemical, extc also have descent placements. The companies like Jp Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, Oracle, quantiphi, TCS, cognizant and many others visit. The highest package currently is 19.63 LPA.

The best thing I liked about my college is that it has Anti Ragging Campus.
The second thing is the coordination of the students with principal sir and HOD ma'am.
The college has the best events managed by the faculty and also by the students like sports, freshers party and traditional days.

Dislikes

Some of its faculty is not cooperative at all which I think should be improved.

Placement Experience:

1. The on-campus placements are the best and the package is very nice too 2. The companies that I know who visited the college are: Amazon, Oracle, Deutsche Bank, etc. which were offering a very nice package. 3. My plans after getting a degree are: i) Get a job experience of two years in India ii) After that I want to pursue ME from US.

The teaching staff was good but lacks equipment for practical knowledge
Hygiene was good in canteen and you must bring your tiffin daily if needed because food is bit costly
The location of the college is top knotch because it is located at link road which is a plus point for daily traveling

One of my friends graduated from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College and here's what he mentioned about the college -

Apart from just an academic point of view, you are better off joining some other college.
In TSEC at the end of 4 years, you do get a B.E degree but you'll be more proficient in event management, marketing, publicity, management, public speaking, and other skills.
The teaching is similar to what you would find in any other college.
The college is anti-ragging. People here are cooperative and friendly.
There is healthy competition between the committees and your extracurricular skills will be encouraged.They also have a diverse student population.
