SFIT Latest Updates and News

03 Dec, 2025 MHT CET will now be conducted twice a year from 2026 onwards for Engineering, Pharmacy, and Management courses. The first session for PCM Group is tentatively scheduled from April 11 to April 19. For PCB Group, the exam is expected from April 21 to April 26, 2026. Check details.

01 Dec, 2025 JEE Main 2026 application form correction is open @jeemain.nta.nic.in till Dec 2, 2025, for B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan admission. Further, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be held from Jan 21 to 30, 2026. For more details, check here.

19 Nov, 2025 GATE 2026 is scheduled for Feb 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, for ME/ MTech/ PhD admissions. The exam will be held in two sessions; the first session will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the second session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. For latest updates, check here.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

Admission:

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET . The others who are eligible required a 95 plus percentile for minority eligibility.

The application forms can be found on the college website as well as the Mumbai University website. Students can apply for the merit list via cap rounds as well as reservations.
