Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Chemistry (or an allied discipline recognised by JSSSTU) with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks. A valid GATE score or K-PGCET rank is required for government-quota seats.

For management-quota seats, a graduation degree with 50 percent marks is sufficient. Apply directly through JSSSTU at sjce.ac.in.

Admission Process

Step 1: Appear for GATE 2026 (result declared Mar 19, 2026) or register for K-PGCET 2026 at kea.kar.nic.in (exam: May 23, 2026).

Step 2: Check K-PGCET result (July 8, 2026) and register for KEA centralised counselling.

Step 3: Select SJCE and your M.Tech specialisation during choice-filling at kea.kar.nic.in.

Step 4: Accept seat allotment and download the provisional allotment letter.

Step 5: Report to SJCE with BE/B.Tech mark sheets, GATE scorecard or K-PGCET rank card, transfer certificate, and category certificate (if applicable).
