The candidate can give the entrance examination conducted by the college to prove their ability and knowledge to the college. A lot of students show their work experience but it doesn't always help to get the admission offer. The student is checked on various levels and is offered the seat accordingly only.
The college accepts only those applications from the candidates who have got more than 50% marks in class twelfth and who have given entrances examinations that are recognized by the government like cat, mat, xat, cet etc. The interview process and the group discussion rounds are simple.
The students who are the children of NRIs and who have passed the qualifying examination not less than 50% marks aggregate in the defined group or 50% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam or CGPA (cumulative grade point average) equivalent to 5 on a sale of 1 to 10. The admission process is simple.
The college is overall very good and is 2 and a half hrs away from the main city but the outerskirts of the city is very beautiful too. All the daily basic needs are available nearby college within 1-2 kms of distance. The hostel and the college campus is situated within the same boundary to offer some extra security features.
To get admission in ECE, its not easy. The students need to undergo a lot of processes to be able to score a seat. The students are given a lot of options to select and start the admission procedure. Minimum requirement is to have 50% marks in class 12th and must have studied physics and maths in class 12th.
The candidates will get an offer if they are eligible and can get more than 50% marks in class 12th. They also need to perform well in the entrance examination and show good results. Apart from this, they have to give interviews and final verdict will be given after everything is done. Work experience is not needed here.
The students in the reserved category/special category/minority group needs 45% marks only to be able to apply in the college. Even they are not required to get a very good rank in comparison to the general category students. The committee people are very supportive and guide everyone in the process of admission.
The infrastructure of the college is good. Proper gender ratio is maintained. 60:40 is the ratio of boys to girls which is good. A lot of sports facilities for both outdoor and indoor games are available. The college has installed proper setups for security and wifi and internet is offered to all the students.
The candidates who have minimum 50% marks in class 12 should also give an entrance exam known as EAMCET which is conducted by the Government of TS. The candidates will have to go through a round of interview and counselling and will be selected on the basis of the performances and responses.
The one thing I wished that the teachers must have changed was that they taught from the examination point of view and not much to improve the quality of skills of the students. It was bit difficult for some students to understand the accent of the teachers but with time, it became easy to understand.
