Campus environment is so good , well disciplined there is no unwanted activities in our college.
The thing which is like the most is the faculty members, they were so kind and helping.

Dislikes

There is no fests in the college cause they think that this will be divert students but by seeing all the people of our age we are getting mentally disturbed that we won't have anything like that.
Because in future we need to work with opposite gender .if we don't do it now there will be some inferiority complex .

Faculty is encouraging and supporting for the students in every aspects.
Infrastructure is very good and college surroundings will be neat.

Dislikes

Faculty shows partiality sometimes towards students
Mobile phone is not allowed and strict rules

.students will be elgible for placemets after 6 th semester. .TCS-50,Tata elxsi-48.Accenture-30,Zoho,soliton,Kaar teechnologies etc.., .Highest-9 LPA,average-5 LPA .every year above 85% students get placed .after getting degree work in MNC companies.

From 5th semester itself the students are eligible to sit for placements. Everyyear many companies visit our college based on different domains. Recently TCS,Wallmart,Zoho,Soliton...etc visited our college.

I like this collage because of the environment .
Food will be superb when compared to other collages.

Dislikes

There will be strict rules and regulations.
In hostel during summer it will be very hot .

I have choose this course because I am instered in studing CSE . Almost there will be 40 to 49 members in a class and for 15 to 20 members there will be a teacher to monitor you . Each and every teacher will handel one subject .

RMK COLLEGE - A best college for average student

Likes

Curriculum of the course which is neither easy nor tough
Placements provided by college, most of them who choose for placements get placed

Dislikes

Not getting exposed to outer world and being locked inside the college itself
Not allowing smart phones for students to explore more things and learn new things

Placement Experience:

Placements are well and in a batch most of them get placed and some students get prefer to high education .One can also search for jobs outside the college by linkdin or by reference etc., students are trained from 3rd semester for placements and placements are held from 6h semester ending. There are many companies recruting students, some of them are Amamzon, zoho, TCS, Cognizant etc., the highest salary offered till now was 24lpa by Amazon company. In a batch 90% to 95% students get placed every year.

In this college from the sixth semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited for our college is virtusa, wipro, accenture, infosys, google, amazon and other were visiting and the highest package is 25 lakhs per annum offered and the 100 percentage placements.

Full time experience of Engineering

Course structure offered by the college, the very well talented faculty, well equipped classrooms.
The greenary around the college, the labs with latest equipment.

Dislikes

Dated infrastructure which seems like built very long ago
College is not close to the bus stop or the railway station.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

The first thing I mostly liked is food.The food in this collage is awesome.it is better than other collages.
Second thing is the hostal .Their are more facilities in this collage.

Dislikes

There are more rules in this collage which imapacts student happiness.
The fees of the collage is somewhat higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen CSE for better placement and to learn about new technology and i have choosen the due to my interest in computers There is no issue with the faculty members.There are more faculty members available for the students when we want help. The professor should be highly qualified and he must have full grip on the subject.Their is review teacing method after every semister. Every semister duration is 5 months.It is easy to pass the exams

Likes

I like the food and the play ground is nice
The labs are good and there will be good infrastructure

Dislikes

Benches are not so good and rules are so strict
If you want to go to home we have to take lot of permisiions

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the CSE course. The faculty is good and the student ratio is around 180 for cse department. Qualification of faculty is Msc and Phd. Exams will be conducted once in a month and its not much difficult to pass exams.

My genuine review about this college is having good atmosphere

Likes

Nice campus with good academics and very talented staff and food is one of the special thing in our college. ...
It has a proper infrastructure and free wifi is available in classrooms and hostel for 24 hours.

Dislikes

They don't allow the students of opposite genders to talk each other
Phones are not allowed inside the campus and also not allowed inside the hostel

Placement Experience:

According to the NIRF rankings 2023, RMD College was placed 8th in Tamil Nadu and 258th out of 394 colleges in India.The highest salary package offered is 48 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho, Soliton, Emburr, etc., visit our campus.From 6th semester students are eligible to attend the campus placements.

RMK Engineering College is affiliated with Anna University and is widely recognized for its academic standards. The institute ranks 30th in Tamil Nadu and 155th for BTech in India by NIRF 2020.

Admission Requirements:

RMK Engineering College offers various educational programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels on engineering and technology. Some of the popular courses at the institute are BTech, BE, MTech, ME, MCA, etc.

The admissions to the UG level courses are made through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).
The admission process in the PG level courses is through TANCET and GATE.

Faculty:
