Yes, this college provides internship in a 4th year i.e STCW course which we all must and should need this training certificate before going to onboard or offshore vessels. During this course no stipend is provided because this will come under training ..and we will receive a certificate Placements under this college are good !..last year i.e in 2017 we got 95% placement not only this particular year every year there is a chance of getting good placements in various shipping companies.

Sadly my college don't provide any placement beacuse. It's located in vizag. A coastal city of Andhra Pradesh so many shipping companies don't have much time to send thein crew manager to select some engineers from our college.

This college had written MOU's with some RPSL companies like DESTRAIN. They are like offering the job by getting paid. That means we need to pay some money to get the placement this thing will be in every college. Students can get jobs with their own talent. As we already have a SHIP in campus there is no need of internship but our college provide internship to make students learn what are the updated technologies.

No, Nothing of such sort is provided. Most of the companies / colleges in Visakhapatnam won't provide stipends for any field. And coming to the internships, they are provided by most of the companies including Vizag Steel plant, Visakhapatnam Port trust, HPCL.

Yes, to complete that internship we will go to kolkata for one month and HSL (Hindustan shipyard ltd.) for 15 days.
