Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering and Maritime Studies (PRIME) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program to the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of engineering. The course is offered under various specializations with the duration of four years consisting of eight semesters.

The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.
The institute also accepts B.Tech admission under lateral entry.

For admission to B.Tech program, candidates need to pass 10+2 level or equivalent examination from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Students who have successfully completed their Diploma in relevant discipline can apply for B.Tech (Lateral).

Admission to the B.Tech specializations (Except Marine Engineering) are done through Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, commonly called as AP EAMCET.

For admission in the Marine Engineering, the selection procedure as follows:

Duly completed application forms date shall be scrutinized based on age and minimum educational qualification
Short-listed applicants in Phase-I, shall be required to undergo Physical Fitness and Medical Examination, conducted by DGS approved Doctor to be conducted at the Institute.
Candidates who have passed Phase-II shall be required to appear for an Entrance Test held on All-India basis conducted by the Institute and Andhra University jointly. The Written Test comprises of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and General Knowledge.
Candidates successful in the written examination are required to attend Group Discussion held by the Institute.
Candidates selected in Group Discussion will have to appear in an interview by a board of members

Through Eamcet conducted by Andhra pradesh state after my intermediate and due counseling process and selection committee which is almost conducted in the month of may and certificate verifications I have Taken bachelor of engineering in electrical and electronics engineering because teaching staff is good in that particular department and nice equipment available

Admission:

I Love to be a mariner and my parents also support me so much to this marine field and I'm glad to be join my course. Admission is take place in three levels. First they chek our intermediate results. It's must be MPC and percent should be 60% and above later on we have written test. We shd score upto 80% later we have basic interview by college staff then we get selected.

Admission:

I had written the entrance test and got admission in this college. Before joining the college you need medical fitness certificate from a dg approved medical clinic. And the student should also posses passport. Now a days choosing a best course is difficult but if you wanna join marine then this is the better choice. You need atleast 60% to this college. you Can join as lateral entry when you have any diploma. And also as GME if you have a btech mechanical engineering degree.

Excellent marine college in AP and Telangana

Admission:

The admission in this college is done by 2 ways ....1 way is by eamcet after writing eamcet exam as per rank and allotment we will select this college ..if rank is under criteria then there is chance of getting admission in this college and we will get a scholarship under various castes ...and 2 way is through management seat we will write a direct entrance exam through primecet and thereby interview and admission takes place .

Admission:

Once EAMCET examination is cleared, I had to wait for the counselling process. In the counselling process., firstly I need to apply for the available colleges online., basing on the eligibility and availability the respective colleges will take down students in to the college. That would happen in a mass counselling stage and we have to submit all the original documents to the centre and from there they will reach the college.
