PESMCOE a real view of college.

Likes

College has a big and specious library, we have access to the all library. there is departmentwise library also .
The infrastructure of the college is good and college is having 4 floors.
There is a special Parking bulding built for parking vehicles.

Dislikes

College is having very less campus as compared to other colleges.
College is not having a nice ground for playing.
College is having college in 2 shifts morning and evening .Evening shift is boring.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship oppurtinities providedd by college are also good but depended on the students most of the students are doing internship outside of college they are doing their work based on their needs . But college is providing better internshipp opportunities .

Life In PES Modern College Of Engineering, Pune.

Likes

The campus of college is much smaller so no need to travel much for classes. also it is located in main area of pune so there is much availability of things like food and shelter,etc.the campus id located in highly populated area.
The teaching faculty is good and experienced and helpfull in nature.

Dislikes

There is not much extracurriculum activities held by the college premises.college mainly focuses on study there is examination of perticular semister which we called as CIE(Cumulative Internal Eximation) which held 3 times in perticular semister.
Because of autonomy the college academics is fixed from starting and minor changes occur in it so not much holidays are given on PL or other festivals.
submission period is very hectic the management of college lacks in that. if your academics or attendance is low the the respected faculty could call your parents for the complain.Hence college academics is much strict then government college.

Placement Experience:

The college provide placement chart every year but amount of placement through campus are not given. mostly off campus placements are good then campus placement. But actual good companies comes for hiering in campus. but there is totally dependent on student that how he is performing

College location which is really near to prime location increasing opportunities
College professors and staff , pretty helpful and skilled

Dislikes

Small campus competitively special regarding to sports

Yes there are several opportunities for students Specifically for 3rd and 4th years students get a lot of chances in internships. Or being in a club changed a lot of things helping us get internships in future.

The campus lies between a good area so after college it's a nice place to roam in , the social life is good
The staff is very student friendly the teaching is very good and the teaching is as per the latest syllabus that a student has to know

Dislikes

The admin block section is very lazy they make you do all the work

Placement Experience:

And the placements start form the 7th semester More than 70% are placed in good companies like tech Mahindra, TCS , prominent, the AVG package stands at 6.5 lakh per annum, Highest domestic package is 12lakh Highest international is 30.5lakh My plans are to get a good package and try to build my skills alongside for better growth

Experienced faculty even for First Year students, Proper and timely conduction of exams even though it is an autonomous institute
Co-operating Staff who help without giving excuses unlike in other colleges

Dislikes

Issues related to vehicle parking for students
they charge ₹5/- per day for parking even though it is within the college campus
they charge ?5/- per day for parking even though it is within the college campus

Internships Opportunities:

Persistent, Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Tata Elxsi, Wipropari, Qspiders, are some companies who hired students in the year 2024. A total of 89 companies visited the college for campus placements with placements still going on for the current year.

Modern college of engineering review by a not so modern student

Likes

The faculty is helpful and very knowledgeable
The teaching staff and support is great.
The campus is small but very eco friendly and peaceful.

Dislikes

not soo much space for parking your vehicle
not many places to eat nearby the campus
The campus is small its a single building

Internships Opportunities:

I am a first year student here and obviously im not really aware of the internship status here but from what i have heard you have to make many projects by the beginning of 2nd year. This college very much believes in practical learning as much as theoretical learning.

Great college no campus

Likes

The faculty of physics and maths is really good
The canteen food is really good to taste
The fest season is in February 2025 each year

Dislikes

The other faculty are not as good as physics and maths
The main motive of some faculties is to finish syllabus even if you won't understand the topic
Campus is little small and consists of only two buildings

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is available in this college. I as of first year saw many people getting placed from the final year. The percentage of students getting placed is nearly 70-80% here . Internships are also offered by college. My plan after my degree is to go for other competitive exams for future study

Likes

I like the teaching faculty of the college.
Computer labs, mechanical workshop, library are also best
Placement are very good in this year the max package is 19.87 LPA with mechanical branch

Dislikes

Girls boys ratio is around 40:60 and it's ok
Not attech ground for playing sports games
No proper parking facility is available .

Internships Opportunities:

In college they give opportunity of internship in 3rd year with nice company and if students are focused he will get internship in 2nd year from great company. Internship is very useful in enginnering life.

Honest review

Likes

College atmosphere is nice and the facilities are really experienced.
The college is present in a prime location everything you neet is at walkable distance.
The hostels,rooms and Pg's are really easily available especially for girls

Dislikes

College doesn't have a playground for it's students
The campus is too small and no room for any Event organizing
There is nothing like sport's in our clg and I think definately not for first year students that's for sure.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are good the highest package this year was 19 lpa of a mechanical student and the average was 6 lpa so ya the placement are decent and if you are well equipped with skill then you might get a good placement and a nice package.
