Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

There is a good environment and very helpful teacher.They always help and motivate us to archive our dreams.College faculty is so good.College campus also so good.
Teachers teachs us very carefully also helps us many things

Collage campus is so short.Placement is now not so good

In middle of the third year many companies came to college and start campusing process. Highest package is 32 lpa and average package is around 5 lpa in computer science department. 100% placement happened in previous year

Labs are good and teachers are very helpful

Dislikes

Only thing I dislike in my college is campus , NSEC have very short campus

Placement Experience:

7th semester TCS Highest pakage given by the company is 12 lakh and the lowest is 5 lakh For appearing in placement we have to get at least 7 cgpa but for good package we have to maintain 8 cgpa My plans after getting the degree is to go for further degrees like m.tech

A brief of NSEC

Likes

The college has good buildings. It is good designed and made very nice
Even having a college uniform it is not mandatory to wear it everyday
It has good clubs like GDSC, photography club, sports club etc

Dislikes

College campus is not that big. There are only buildings. Although it has space to make
College is situated in outside of Kolkata in a village like area which is not very safe at night
Language barrier. If you are a non bengali then you would face some difficulty

Placement Experience:

It has decent placement. Mostly the package comes from CSE and ECE branch. It's average package is around 6 lakhs and highest gone to 24 lakhs offcampus. You could get decent package if you get skilled

College life in NSEC Kolkata

Likes

Engaging professors who were passionate about their subjects and accessible for guidance were invaluable. The supportive community of peers fostered lifelong friendships and collaboration. The well-equipped facilities and resources enhanced learning
College was awesome! I loved the lively campus atmosphere, cool professors, and making great friends. The campus facilities were top-notch, making studying and hanging out super fun. Plus, there were tons of opportunities to explore interest

Dislikes

Lack of playground in main campus of college, we have to go for a distance for playground
There are many non AC class , lack of accessibility and more

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, the student's became eligible for the placement and there are numerous of companies visited the college campus some of them are tcs, cognizant, Accenture,etc . Almost 90percent of students getting placed

Honest opinion on NSEC

Likes

The faculties are very helpful in all the streams.
The placement is decent in case,it,ece,ee.
No linguistic barrier despite being in west bengal.

Dislikes

The campus is small in size about 5 acres.
The location of the college is okaish.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester u are eglible for placement. The college offers a good campus placement. Companies like TCS, Accenture,virtusa and many other companies keep visiting the college. Approx 85 percent students are placed each year.

From the third year of the btech students are eligible for campus placement. Some companies which visited the college campus cognizant, TCS, Accenture and many more Avg package is around 5lpa and highest package is around 68lpa which is offcampus placement ofcourse

Pros and cons of NSEC kolkata

Likes

Campus Life, you can find good friends too, canteen, placement,
Faculty is very good. You can interact with them everytime whenever you feel any doubts regarding any thing.
Canteen is also good. You can find various varieties of foods. You can eat South Indian thali, North Indian food, chai, coffee etc

Dislikes

Here is nothing which I dislike about my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very much good. Syllabus complete on time even before time. There are 4exams conducted before semester. And two practicals . You have to perform good in that for getting good marks in semester examination

Here the faculties are good . Not all department but in some department.
Placements in CSE IT ECE branch is good.

Dislikes

Location is not good . The area of the college is under developed .
Campus is not so big If you are looking for polished building and well developed campus , then look for another option

NSEC, Best college in Kolkata ?

Likes

Enviroment is very good and gives you positive vibes.
Faculty is experinced and supportive so the can help you in every way.
I dont know about you, but I have met some mazing people and made some amazing friends.

Dislikes

College campus is very small , like very small.
Placements are not going great in the college.
Infrastructure is not nop toch and equipment and labs are very old.

Placement Experience:

There are very few placements in every department this year, as it was last year. the student becomes eligible from the 7th sem to get placed. generally, TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant are mass recruiter companies that select students.
