Faculty:

Faculties are quite good but not so well.Most of them are not so good at Hindi.Even some are not good in English.So students from other states face some language issues in starting.Like I am also from Bihar and faced language issues because I don't know bangla and they have poor catch on Hindi.But the good thing is that many of them will try to make you understand by giving their best.You also need to put some efforts there.But trust me after 1 or 2 sem, you will make up and can easily catch their language.

The faculty is mostly Bengali but they taught us very well the taught us in easy English language and very cooperative to biharis. The complete syllabus on time and gave oppurtunies in class such as araange debates ,group discussion etc.

Faculty:

CSE faculties are well qualified and help us pretty often. They even motivate us to get hold of new courses which industry actually wants. Apart from that their behaviour toward students is quite friendly and helpful. And the same goes with another department also. Their faculty members are also knowledgeable personnel.

NITMAS (formerly known as ITME) Review; straight from the experience!

Faculty:

Being from the ECE department, I can assess only the ECE faculty. Few of the faculty members were too good and thorough with their subjects but many of the faculties were not up to the mark. Some of them not even qualified enough to be teaching B.Tech graduates.

The teachers I had at my point of time had been good enough. They belonged to IIT madras, some where grabbing their phd from jadavpur university. The had dean had his phd from foreign university. So I think they are higly qualified to teach us. Some of them are poor in quality teaching due to lack of knowledge and spoken english.

College offers good B.Tech course in marine engineering.

Faculty:

Excellent workshop and in house ship in campus faculty are very known in the industry and the dean is very well versed in the mmd/mmd is the main branch needed after college and most faculty are external examiners in the mmd.
