The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

The faculty to student ratio is about 3:7. The faculty are knowledgeable and experienced but not very punctual. They are helpful in times of need. There are not really any favorite faculty as they always keeps their distance with the student's snd doesnt interact much outside of academic reasons. There 4 exams per year and they quite easy to pass as the teachers provides us with proper notes and materials.

The faculty and students ratio is pretty good they provide study materials. The exams here is pretty good to score. In every semester they take slot tests of around 30 marks that gets included in Cgpa .

Overall a good college to start your career in the tech industry.

The curriculum is up to date, the faculties are well educated with enough years od experience, the infrastructure is good too.

-> The faculty to student ratio is 1 : 9 (that means for every 9 students there is 1 faculty to help them), the faculties are good and helpful. -> For personnel reasons I will not name anyone, but my favourite faculty is our CS teacher. -> I most disliked our electronics teacher, he/she is the most non-helpful. -> there are total 8 exams in a total of 8 semesters, most of the students pass, the course curriculum is mostly relevant.

If you're not from West Bengal, you might face some challenges in the beginning because most of the faculty talk in Bengali but if you ask them
While there are some good faculties in the college who try to help students, the majority of the teachers don't care too much

The faculty in Narula Institute of technology are all well qualified. But it does not imply that they are good teachers. There are many faculties in the college who literally don't care about their students, they just come with their notebooks, read some topics from their notes and leave the class. Some teacher just come to fill the chalk board and explain nothing. However there are also some faculty members who try their best to explain each and every topic to their students. The faculty members i liked the most are Anirban sir (IT), Debopriya Dey ma'am (Maths), Dibyendu sir (Maths), Sourav Dwari sir (Phy), Sourav Mukherjee (Chem), Prosenjit sir (IT Lab) and Amit Rakshit sir (ME lab). There are a few more but i dont remember their names. If any of these become your teacher, just know that they will always help you and they are all very chill. There are some teachers who have a bad reputation for being overly strict. Some of them are Nidhi ma'am (Registrat), Shambu Nath sir (Dean), DKT sir (Phy), RJR ma'aa (HU), NLS sir (Maths), KKK sir (Phy lab). These teachers are not approachable at all (except registrar and dean, cause you will have to approach them in case of emergency and they will try to help you). They are very strict and put way too much pressure on the students. If you get any of these teachers, just quitely attend their classes and go home, dont ask them too many questions or argue with them cause they might take it to their ego influence your internal marks. I would say its around 1:50 considering that its the average class size. The student intake is much more than the faculty intake.The college conducts 2-3 slot test per semester and one final exam at the end of each semeter. The slot papers are of 20-30 marks and contain questions from the portion that has been taught in class until that point. End sem is of 80 marks and is based on PYQs and teachers suggestions. Checking is usually easy and lenient. Its easy to score a good CGPA here due to autonomy

Narula institute of technology - An overview

First of all the management is very bad the mentor ship is not good and specially BCA department is overlooked
The mentor of BCA dept is very bad these complaints were lodged to her first but she didn't do anything

The faculty student ratio is bad. Its like 15 teachers and there is 124 student in our batch but there are the senior batches present so its hard to manage all that and sometimes teachers from different faculty take out classes. Our HOD ma'am Rupa Saha is very nice and shes very helpful at things regarding college and projects also Somnath Chatterjee sir is very nice he organises industrial visita for us. On the other hand our mentor Sucheta ma'am is not very helpful she also favours some seleted students over others. So regarding exams this college is an autonomous institute its affiliated by the makaut University so this college takes two exams per semester one is just a test exam for 30 marks and theres there the sem final exam it is 100 marks exam 70 marks is written and 30 is through lab exams, viva , projects, assignment etc The syllabus is very outdated cause the college uses the same syllabus as makaut University and it misses the topics like AI and Machine learning. Most students usually pass the exams while in the previous same 5 students got backlog

Narula - Check the all Details about the college.

The All professors are too good and too much friendly, if you have idea at any topics you can discuss with them and can start work under them.

The ratio between students and faculty members that is enough. All the students get mentors, they can disscuss with them , can share ideas and other things, This is the most imporatant things which should be noticable. In the first year you got an C or DSA professor , the teacher is GOD , this teacher help students a lots in every matter and every situations.

The student ratio is around 1:300 , although faculty are knowledgeable and have excellent teaching ability .the cse faculty of our branch is very excellent he is graduated from jadhavpur university. Semster exam are medium level we can easily get good cgpa

College faculty is very good in department to department. Maximum teacher are very friendly and approachable so if we face problems we can ask for help.Every students have their parsonal mentor to guide them. Passing rate of students is very good.
