Mewat Engineering College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am studying in this college in btech course. The course curriculum of college is too good. The teaching method of faculty is also good. The frequency and timing of exams along us is too good. The students have good understanding to take faculty.

Mostly people who complete their btech go for masters for better job opportunities in later future because of lack of placements. Very few people get placement in companies like Reliance, Airtel, and Mahindra. Only 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Highest package of the last year was 12 lakhs from Mahindra and the lowest was 4 lakhs from Airtel and about 13 people got placements in total which is about 5% of the total students. My plans after completing my btech is to pass GATE exam and search for good job opportunities.

The course is designed to show students that potential course content is very appropriate. The teaching method is best to complete the syllabus and take the sessional examination every week through which we can conclude our weak areas and do best in the final examination. With course continuation the taking us lab and help in all experiments. All instruments are available in the lab for any practical use.

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.

After the 6th sems or 7th sems, students get the opportunity of placement which is average and not that bad. Students with all clear results get good placement. One can also go for GATE exams after the degree or can sit in the placement.
