Mewat Engineering College was established in the year 2010 and is located in Mewat, Haryana. It is affiliated with Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Mewat Engineering College offers four-year of B.Tech course at the under graduate level in five specializations. The college also offers B.Tech Lateral program to the candidates.

Admission to the first year of the B.Tech course will be done on the basis of JEE Main entrance examination.
For B.Tech, candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects as one of the subjects with 45% marks are eligible to apply.
Candidates who are holders of Diploma in Engineering/Technology or a B.Sc. degree with minimum 45% marks are eligible to apply in B.Tech Lateral entry.
Lateral entry applicants will be given admission on the basis of their scores in the OLET LEET examination, conducted by HSCS.

Mewat Engineering College B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Admission 2023

Mewat Engineering College offers the B.Tech course at the under graduate level under five speicalizations. The B.Tech course is taught for a duration of four-year. The college also offers B.Tech Lateral entry admission to the students for a period of three-year.

The minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects as one of the subjects with 45% marks.

For B.Tech Lateral entry, candidates who are holders of a Diploma in Engineering / Technology or a B.Sc. degree, from a recognized institution, and have obtained minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for reserved category) are eligible to apply.

Admission to the first year of the B.Tech course will be done by the college on the basis of performance in the JEE Main entrance examinations. Lateral entry applicants will be allotted seats based on their scores in the OLET LEET entrance examination.

Key Points:

Affordable state government based college for engineering

Admission:

So if I talk about applying to other colleges so basically I have given multiple entrance exams like CUET UG, AICEE and I was getting multiple private colleges opportunities. But I selected this college over them because of 3 factors. The first one is because one of my cousin have passed out from this college in 2021 from mechanical engineering. The second is the tution fees and hostel fees are very low as compared to other private colleges which I was getting admission. The third factor is it is a Muslim Minority college and is governed by the Government of Haryana and Haryana WAQF Board If I particularly tell the name of the colleges which I was getting confirmed admission are Amity University, Integral College Lucknow and K R Mangalam University. I didn't get any rejection from the college where I applied from just other than IITs because I don't have scored good marks in Mains and I can't afford for the drop year. Direct admission on the basis of 12th marks. Come first get first

Inside Mewat Engineering college : A detailed exploration of campus life, academics and beyond.

Admission:

Eligibility for this course is class 12th with 45 per cent in PCM. College conduct entrance examinations for admission as well but you can take admission in JEE marks as well as class 12th board marks. The improvement I want to see in the admission process is that I Think automation should be done in the admission process.

Admission:

The college name is mewat engineering college I don't have any reason of non attending the college is very good very well maintained and they have a well qualified professor for every branch. I don't have applied for any quota for admission. The admission criteria of our college are to take all documents with us like 10th 12th class and character certificate and migration and you have minimum 60 % marks to take admissions and our college doesn't have any age limits. The admissions process was superb yes they provide details on counselling day.

Mewat Engineering College- Review

Admission:

Direct Admission for any courses or maybe an entrance test for some limited seats but mainly it follows a rule of first come first serve. There is some scholarship available during the admission, who got 80+ percentage in his/her 12th class who got 50 percent scholarship in tuition fees. Minimum maths must be above 60% in class 12th. The minimum age must be 17 yr and more.
