"The MMEC Buzz: Worth the Hype?"

Likes

The faculty and overall management is very good. The professors are also very supportive and friendly. The things thought by the professors is very clear and understandable. The way of teaching to the students is very good and effective.
The lab facility is good which is full of all required instruments and machineries. The instructor to lab attender all are very good they use to tell us about everything. Due to good ambiance labs neve get bored.
Library and the office of the college is one of the attractive thing in the college premises. All the required books are available in the library and it is full o peace and good vibes. Also digital library is there for Students.

Dislikes

The college canteen one of the worst food providers ever i seen. As the college is out of the city there is no hotels and canteens. They should improve food quality and ambience of the canteen.
The much space is empty they should utilize the space around the college for different activities like gardening or sports ground.
They should increase the number of college buses which is very important for students transportation.

Admission:

The main reason to persue mechanical engineering in this college is few of my seniors are suggested me this college as the faculties of mechanical stream are good in teaching and mire approachable. Compare to other colleges the students of this college will never get placements in college because placement faculties will not put their effort towards students placements. So after graduation none of the students get job or internship after the graduation by this college. Comparatively other colleges this college is lagging behind in cultural and social activities due to faculty will not give any permission to organise cultural events. As lack of suppot towards carricular activities never ever any college or department event will not happen succesfully also they will not celebrate regional events like kannada rajyotsava or kannada habba. As my CET ranking is arount 40000 I got this college which has good faculty in mechanical stream compare to other colleges. Admission process is not that complex any student who completed PUC can do it easily. After once getting seat confirmed remaining process is easy. "As I know in present situation whole mechanical faculties changed. Senior lecturers are not there. They are replaced by non experienced faculty. So while taking admission check with seniors or other known people."

Staff members are friendly, and they helps when needed.
Some teachers are good and knowledgeable and helps in studies.
College campus is big and can be improved.

Dislikes

Bus facilities is not good, in one bus more students are going by standing.. it is about 27km
The college is at the out area where the network is not available.
Some teachers just come to the class and read the ppt slides.

I didn't choose this college, i got the government seat and also the course. I would prefer other college. This college is more far.. and in no network area. The college gets the admission after the fees is given, of the fees is pending we are not eligible for exams.

taken seat under Mgmt Quota, Applied only to MMEC taken admission bcoz i had heard that the staff are well experienced and qualified they also have an incubation center for carrying out research-based projects

I choose this college as it was the only college providing this course which was nearest to my home town, also the staff is supportive and encouraging. The admission process was made quite easy and understandable.

Admission:

firstly after the secondary or 12th or pre university college we have to give the common entrance test for the engineering course and the marks at the cet and percentage obtained on the 12th will be considered and ranking is released based on the ranking you get the college all around the state.

Admission:

I got Govt Quota seat through CET and had to give some bribe as donation which was around 5K that time and for hostel some additional 10K per year. College was new campus so it was good and neat but hostel was dusty and it was not maintained properly in initial days.

I needed 50% in PCM group ie.p hysics, chemistry, mathematics so i needed 150 marks out if 300 in pcm group, but unfortunately i scored 149 marks out of 300. Hence i had to shift my state for higher education. I got a engineering seat in electronics trade in maratha mandal college in karnataka.
