Electronics and communication department has wide range of opportunity at this moment. A lot of job opportunities are even provided from the college. Semester is 3 to 4 months, so The first month has no exams. The second month has internal exams one, and During the third month, internal exams to occur and the next month final exams are there.
Nw, the college is autonomous and they have modified the syllabus. New industrial-oriented courses are added to the syllabus of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (KTU). Student intake in every class is 60, which is the maximum. Usually, computer science engineering seats are filled. Faculties are well trained and knowledgeable, though they teach only exam-oriented. College exams are conducted in a timely and fair manner, exams are easy to be passed if the notes given by the teachers are correctly followed.
It gives at most importance to academic activities. Faculties are always ready to help students assignments and monthly text are been conducted. Faculties are MTech graduates or with phd and some doing phd. Term exams are done for 50 marks and it was done as per the norms of university exams
Fee structure differs based on merit -entrance allotment students and management quota. For merit based students the fee structure is lesser compared to management.Depending on the caste- religion also the fees reduction is there for merit people from government's side. The management quota students pay advanced amount for the seats. Then more fees are paid by them. The college bus fare and cafeteria, canteen fares are others.
While joining, a refundable advance of 1lakh has to be paid. Then a caution deposit of 10k. The yearly fees is around 79k rs which includes 75k fees+ some extra charges. Since the university changed, the fee structure could have changed.
75000 per year and extra fees are also charged. Don't know much about details as we have a fee scheme by our entrance commissioner to pay Rs.75000 an year for private self financing colleges.
