Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) offeres B.Tech in IT.Admission to the four-year program is made on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in Jee Main(Joint Entrance Exam Main)and also on the basis of theIPU CET exam, conducted by the university.

IT in MIAT (IPU)

Placement statistics:

1. After CSE, the IT branch experiences most recruitments. A total of70%-75% of the ITstudentsat MAIT are placedin reputed companies like Amazon, Expedia, TATA Power, and many more.The top recruiters of the institute includes Infosys and Accenture.
2. In 2019, 42 companies visited the campusand 808 students were placed on campus.
3. The highest package offered is around 28LPAwhilethe average package offered is around 3.5LPA.

Infrastructure:

• MAIT has a better infrastructure than most of the other IPU Colleges except for USIT.
• The labs are functional, the classes are pretty decent for an Engineering collegebut have no active clubs.

CSE in JIIT

Placement statistics:

1. CSE branch has excellent placements at JIIT with top recruiting companies being Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart,HCL,India Mart,Infosys,Microsoft,and many more.
2. 95% of CSE students were placed in the top companies in the year 2019. A total of 308 job offers were received by the students.
3. The highest package was of 42 Lacs, the lowest is 3.7 Lacs by a service-based company and the average salary is around 6-7 Lacs for CSE.

Infrastructure:Basic facilities like libraries, hostel, Gyms, sports centers, and Labs are available to provide. Libraries have many quality books for the student to study.

Exposure:JIIThas agood environment as students and teachers take programming very seriously making a good circle and environment to develop an interest in programming.
