A Good college

Likes

The area of our college is very greenish and satisfying and calm
The staffs are very friendly to us and they are behaving as a friend to us

Dislikes

The strict rules like dress code , shoes , id card , unfolding in first year of college

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is good hence, the placement classes are taken by college in 3rd year of studying for the students who are willing for the placement. The placement percentage is 70 , almost all popular companies are visiting for placement.

Likes

The fees structure is fair enough comparatively
The placement training is started early from 2nd year
The infrastructure is great like lab, TBI

Dislikes

The placement count is moderately less comparatively
They are strict on fees collecting time period

Placement Experience:

The placement is fair enough. The average placement package is around 4-5 lpa. The placement percentage is good comparatively but not impressive in our year may be due to recession. The number companies that visit the college is high comparatively. One can be placed in only one company.

About my college experience

Likes

In our college it have skilled staff and lab incharges
In our college they maintained lab in neat and good
In our campus above 90 percentage placement

Dislikes

Need to change the network issue at some places
Need to industrial visit at outside from tamilnadu
Need to increase the bus route at near stop

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course should be considered as for our core level company interested students can apply extra credit courses which apart from our course like nptel exam etc. the improvement course it should be engineering drawing to AutoCAD it becomes Solidworks

Truth about kongu engineering college

Likes

Business incubation inside the college is good and usefull
Free time is a bit more if you are into projects or entrepreneurship
Friendly teachers who talk friendly instead of being strict that's an good point here

Dislikes

Outdated syllabus and most things are thought In board
Walking inside the capus will be high as there is not an proper adminstration
More strict in dress code . Not good for fashion showing people

Placement Experience:

Mostly everyone will be placed somewhere at 3lpa . If not they will give internship inside he college startups and it will be helpful for some people and mostly everyone will be placed and only some people will go for high paying jobs

Likes

The freedom of this college is high you can enjoy.
The staffs are almost friendly in all departments.
The environment which you are surrounded is nice.

Dislikes

The food which provided in hostel is not worth.
Sometimes you feel it just like a school.
The education provided here is to memory something and vomit it.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed.My plan is to start private construction agency.

KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE (KEC)

Likes

Cool infrastructure , climate and classrooms
Seniors at KEC are very friendly and lovable they ensure that we'll feel comfortable
Lots of event and symposium are conducted frequently which helps us to grow our skills

Dislikes

The taste of food at the food court is average but not bad
Dress code is strictly monitored for the first year undergraduates
Od's aren't provided in the 1st sem to attend some event but mostly we'll be permitted

Course Curriculum Overview:

KEC is an autonomous college so the curriculum is changed every four years. The course B.E MECHATRONICS is an integration of electrical, mechanical and computers. The course is so engaging and the staffs in the department are easy going and their teachings methods are well appreciated. There will be 2 to 4 tutorials per week and the difficulty of it is easy

Likes

The faculties are very good and teach good friendly and they are well experienced ,they make students to study well.
The campus and infrastructure are good and surrounded with green trees,it gives mentally and physically comfort.
Course subjects are easy and clear to understand well and we study well we can score good marks in all subjects.

Dislikes

Placement package should increase and they want to provide many intenships.
Department blocks should be painted well and also maintain class room clean.
They should increase the transport facility for all places around the college.

Placement Experience:

This college is mainly based on the placement ,In the 2 nd year itself the placements are starting if you placed you can join the work in the third year itself.Many companies are comming to this college .The average package of this college is 400000 and. highest package is 1200000.

good infrastructure and teaching methods of department staff.

Placement Experience:

the placement cell is very good and they offer good opportunities to students. last year (2023)- totally 310 companies visited and hired around 1300 students and its is still going on. good placement record of around 98%.

Likes

Infrastructure of the college and good maintenance of the campus
Sports facilities. Events , culturals and lab sessions
Industrial visits, field visits and hostel rooms

Dislikes

Hostel foods ,restroom maintenance ,hostel maintenance
Classroom furnitures is not comfortable to sit and listen class
Lab uniforms are not in a good brands it gets torn very soon
