What are the documents required for the admission process?

The following documents are required for the admission purpose:Mark sheets of Examinations passed.Admit Card of H.S.L.C. Examination.Passing Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.Caste Certificate (if applicable).Gap period certificate(if applicable).One passport size photograph of the candidate attested by the Head of the Institution.

Can I apply for a scholarship at Goalpara College?

The College does not provide any Scholarship facilities so far as the fee structure is affordable for everyone. If still anyone wants to take a loan, he/she can avail of a loan from their respective banks with the permission and signature of the Principal.

Does the college organize any co-curricular activities within the college campus?

The university encourages the students in distinctive co-curricular sports such as Debate, Quiz, Literary fields, etc. Annual competitions are held in those fields during the college week. Important seminars, events, and functions take place.

The university has an active NCC unit imparting training beneath 1 Assam Bn. NCC (Army wing) The NSS unit of the university arranges social service camps and undertakes programs for social upliftment under the guidance of the Programme Officer. Goalpara college admission fee system is average like all other institutions. It takes 5400 for the admission. And it has the fee relieved system where financial backward people get admission without any money. Every year scholarship has been provided by them. There are three types of scholarship given by them. Hostel scholarship, yearly scholarship and caste depending scholarship. I have got 2 times in two years. I have not got any job because I m still studying in it.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Earlier there was free admission to the Economically weak Section and now as the Assam Government has declared the fee for Under-Graduate students to be free of cost, there will be no admission fee for the students. There are several scholarships that the students can apply such as the minority scholarship, 'MLA area funding' scholarship, etc.
