Ques. Does IMSEC provide internship opportunities?
Ans. IMSEC at Ghaziabad has a good number of internship opportunities in different departments to develop practical skills and industry exposure for students. The Training and Internship Division (TID) of the college actively organises in-house and outside internships. For example, the Department of Biotechnology had a four-week in-house training program on industrial biotechnology and bioinformatics with hands-on experience in operating bioreactors and bioinformatics tools.

Ans. IMSEC in Ghaziabad regularly organises a wide range of placement events to make students more employable and corporate-ready. The Career Development Cell (CDC) arranges Pre-Placement Talks with prominent companies such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), familiarising students with the company expectations and recruitment procedures. Also, the college organises Mock Placement Drives, like the one that has been arranged by the MCA department, to create a real-life interview atmosphere and train students for actual placement sessions. IMSEC also conducts Campus Recruitment Drives, where top companies like Accenture and Unthinkable Solutions recruit students from the campus itself.
Ques. What are the eligibility criteria for campus placements?
Ans. To be considered for campus placements at IMS Engineering College (IMSEC), Ghaziabad, students are required to fulfil certain academic and conduct-related requirements. Above all, the students should have a minimum cumulative CGPA of 6.5 till the sixth semester and maintain regular attendance, ideally not below 75%. Apart from these, students have to register individually for each campus drive that they want to attend and bring all the necessary documents, such as their college ID card, during the recruitment drives. It should be mentioned here that every student is typically allowed to apply for only one offer. However, exceptions are offered to students of core branches such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics & Communication Engineering so that they can appear for core company drives even after receiving offers from non-core or IT firms.
