Worst educational experience of my life

Likes

Nice environment college campus is very green and college is 10 km from patan in a village named katpur
Little to no noise pollution and good weather

Dislikes

Government hostel in patan are pretty much as bad as it would get the hostel wardens had nepolian syndrome they did whatever they liked if a single person commited a felony whole hostel had to pay for it
While living in hostel it was if u are less of a student and more of a watchman if any mischievous boy in hostel has done something u should know otherwise the whole hostel got punished with decreased out time strict regulations etc.
The hostel gate opening time was 7:00 in the morning and closing time was 9:00 at evening but the warden would decrease it till 7:00 in evening there are no clear hostel rules and pretty much everyone faculty does whatever they likes

Admission:

I appied for shantilal shah and various other college but i wanted to get out of the kathiyawad and experience new environment, culture and people thats why i chosed this colledge over others. I wanted a peaceful environment and this college had it it was far from city far from noise and far from pollution so it was a best choice The admission process of this colledge is through acpc u have to score good marks in your state bord or cbsc and have a moderate score in gujcet to be selected in this colledge the general cutoff is around 5000-6000 obc cutoffs are around 12000 and sc/st cutoff for acpc are around 20000-40000

i have applied for only few colleges , but i choose this over other colleges because it is government college and also veryy nice . also i live nearby the patan therefore i choose this college . i had take admission through acpc . i had give gujarat board exams and gujcet . admission process is easy .

Dislikes

Our collage is in rural place so animals are stand up on road.
Honeybee's house is very dangerous in our college.
Non technical facilities teaching is not good.

Me chhose this college because my college is near to my home to other colleges.I am interested to take admission in VGES college and my aspc rank is good it 2441 but my parents can't permit to take admission in VGES college.

Overview of GEC Patan

Likes

I liked the college campus. It is very big, clean and green.
The faculties are very humble and helpful to the students.
Hostel mess is also very good and made healthy foods for students.

Dislikes

There is transportation problem because of rural area.
There is only one and small hostel for each girls and boys.
There are no water filters in any department building.

Admission:

I am from Surat and I wanted to get addmission in S.S. gandhey college, Surat but my rank was low for get addmission in surat. Through the ACPC councelling first I got addmission in GEC Dahod but I didn't like that college and in the second round I got addmission in GEC Patan. So, when I visited the this college I liked the atmosphere and infrastructure of this college. So I take addmission in GEC Patan. To get addmission in GEC Patan, you have give gujcet exam and thereafter by the ACPC councelling if you are eligible then you will get admission in GEC Patan. You can also take admission here by the JEE mains rank.

Industry ready graduates from GEC PATAN

College has very nice atmosphere. Atmosphere of college is very peace, no disturbance of vehicle's volume. College is neat and clean. College is big.
Faculty are very helpful.Faculties are acts as friendly and calmly. They are very educated. Their teaching style is very easy and easy to understanding. They do submission of all students without any problem.
College organized very events like sports, hakathons, seminar etc.

Dislikes

College is very inside to highway so we have many problems to go college. Sometimes water is not available for drinking.
The bus organized by GSRTC for go for college but, in return bus is not available so we walk 2km for go to highway.
Stationaries are not near the college. So we get many problems for any xerox, etc.

Admission:

I applied other colleges for Computer Science Engineering but my admission is not confirmed due to ACPC rank. Other colleges provides me other branches but my interest is in computer science engineering. So i choose this college and this college is near from home around 45 km. So we easily do updown. This college is best also. The admission process of this college is ACPC through. ACPC rank conduct the result of Board exam and Gujcet exam.

My pov for college

Likes

My college study environment is very good.
All the faculty in campus are very supportive and very helpful. They all are experts in there field.
Whole campus is covered in greenery which is very good and create nice environment.

Dislikes

Washrooms are very dirty and somewhat broken.
Social life in college is almost zero. There are very less events in our college.
Facilities like benches, fans , machines for pratical etc are not so in a great conditions.

Admission:

There were no other college i wanted to get into. I am studying in the college i wanted to study. Government engineering college patan have very good campus for studying. It has very good environment. The adimmison process is also very simple.

Faculty of college is very kind, helpful, intelligent and fun loving. They help give very wise advices
It has many club and societies which give good communication skills and some of club are also for academic purposes.
Festival celebration and every events are fun loving and gives good knowledge.

Dislikes

College is located in near by village area, it leads many inconvenience.

I got applied in scet from surat, AIT from Ahmedabad, gec bharuch and I got confirmed admission in three of them but in last round I choose gec, patan. Because first of it government college in tution fee is negligible in compared to private colleges and because of small city residencial cost is also less. And most importantly I. GEC patan ec department servers more knowledge in comparison to others that's why I choose it. I didn't get rejected in any other college. For admission in gec patan you must registration in ACPC via GUJCAT or JEE. If you register via GUJCAT then your ACPC rank will be based on GUJCAT result and 12th result else it we based on your JEE rank. You will get admission by merit.every year cutoff changed.

Here at college fees is very low compare to other college.
This college is government funded so some scholarship is provided.

Dislikes

This college is far from city of patan so traveling is difficult.

Admission:

I am currently enrolled at government engineering college at Patan which is under Gujarat Technical University, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. Here Admission is given under ACPC merit ranks and acpc rank depends on the 12th result and gujcet exam.

i like the peace fullnes of the college campus because of far palce.
we get good placement opportunity because of some faculty hard work.
Because of NSS we can celebrate culturle events

Dislikes

College is too far from any book store so we can't by any thing related to college because of that.
Food is to terible in hostel cantyne so we cant get any good food.
massbunk is big problem in our college students don't like coming college in summer.

Admission:

I'm eligible for my course, my admission process is done through acpc which costs 1500 rupees. I didn't get any benefits. My college campus is located near the village. it is too far from the city and because of that any market or shop is not near my college.
