The permission to go home for girls is restricted without the arrival of parents even in emergency times .
Being a girl, restrictions to go out of hostel after 6 .

Hostel Facilities:

Comparing with private colleges, we usually have a 10 percentage of their hostel fees.food in the hotel mess is rated 3.5 out of 5 because we used to get bored of the routine menu.. but we have the option of changing menu of hostel food twice a year. We have to pay online payment of below 10 thousand for staying in hostel. However monthly fees within 2,500 is mandatory for all the hostel members.

Life Of Government college of engineering salem

There are a total of 7 hostel blocks, each designated for a specific year group. First-year rooms accommodate 5 students, while second-year rooms are for 4 students in a single room. Third-year students have individual rooms furnished with a fan, table, and chair. The mess bill is reasonably priced, at 1700 or below, offering exclusively vegetarian food options within the college premises.

The boys hostel consists of 4 blocks.Every block is every year hostel.There are 50 rooms in one hostel.Total five members in one room.Mess facility in the hostel.The hostel food is good.The hostel food fees is low.

The hostel was not much good but it is an adjustable level. There will be separate hostels for each year in the boys' hostel. In the girl's hostel, first and second years are in one block, third years in one block, and final years are accommodated in one block. Rooms will have proper electricity connection. Rooms have one fan and two lights. The room has only one plug point. Each student was provided with a cot for staying. The bathroom is common to all students. There will be three bathrooms and three toilets for 8 rooms. Bathrooms are continuously cleaned by the workers. Food will be provided on time. Morning at 6.30 am coffee will be provided. Then the menu has been scheduled and based on the schedule dish will be provided. In the evening there will be tea and coffee both are provided.

Hostel is not clean

Hostel registration can be done easily, the hostel fee will be 8500 per year. Mess foods are ok not too good but it's value for money we are charged around a max of 1700 per month. We can be 5 in a room with a fan and two lights and 5 cots and 3 writing tables

A nice college for good exposure

The hostel does not consist of hifi facilities..it's full of only average facilities...the hostel room is accomodation with 4 members..the mess is very good...water facility is very very good..the hostel fee is also very less

My College

Hostel facilities are very good as we pay lakhs of the amount in private colleges but here for 10 thousand per year giving immense of facilities bathroom facilities are very good, two members per room for 3rd year. And food facilities are homely and allow students to take food from outside.

One of the good govt. Colleges

Here we have four separate hostel blocks for UG students and a separate block for PG students. Power supplies may be down for one or two days in a month that too due to local shutdown. About mess foods, it's okay for 1700 per month but it's not too good.
