Good College life

Likes

The department i study in is rich with faculties, equipments and option for creativity
The infrastructure of the college is unlike anything in my city and i feel special to study here

Dislikes

College hostel food is not very good quality and is not variable
The classes are mostly theoretical and not practical

Admission:

I have heard plenty of good things about this college on its teaching, facility, environment and external knowledge and i can say it lives up to it. It even surpases in some of its quality and overall my experience in this college has been remarkable

The lab equipments for most part although not perfect still gets the job done and overall importance for the practical experiments in each semester
The student flexibility with allowing for almost any and every extra curricular activities or co curricular activities when approaching the faculty members

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the sectors in college could do some work as it is a really old college
The hostel facilities and food quality from what I've heard from my co classmates is not great, including the bathroom facilities

Admission:

The overall freedom of students in terms of expressing themselves without any caveats is one of the main reasons for choosing this college.. that along with the accessibility of the college location The admission process is fairly simple with going to the registered TFC centre and filling out an admission form and paying the fees directly to the main admin office in college

Likes

The environment is very good to concentrate
The people are very good and helps a lot

Dislikes

The food is a little difficult to adapt .
The teaching is all done the their mother language which isn't beneficial

Admission:

I got admitted in the college because of JEE marks and I did not go through any entrance exam although other students hav eto score a certain marks in 12 boards to get admission in the college but for other states they get through by clearing jee mains

Environment friendly for students to learn and enhance skills
They offer good placement opportunities and provide extra courses

Dislikes

Language barriers plays a vital role for students studying there from different states
The college is lacking a little bit behind in infrastructure

Admission:

For ST students we get seats through Government quota once we clear the jee exams. Application forms are available in the precised website of the college all the dates and important info is updated in the college website.As per the admission process everything is good and there is no need of any improvement

Life Of Government college of engineering salem

Likes

Peace full college, good education and environment
Friendly staffs, many facilities are there in our college

Dislikes

Long distance for every department is very difficult to reach
Very old buildings,and some damaged building

Admission:

Our college admission process is conducted offline and involves filling out several forms. High cutoff is needed to get seat in this college 187/200.Sc/ST reservation.7.5 category reservation processAs it's a government college, admission is based solely on merit, making the process relatively straightforward. The staff manages the process efficiently, and there are no additional charges apart from the standard fees. Overall, the staff is competent and helpful throughout the admission procedure.

Placement, campus life, lab,library,class room, faculty members, program conducted by department, inplant training

Dislikes

Mathematics -1 faculty, sports department, english communication department are very poor,

Admission:

The admission process is simple I applied for Counselling conducted by Anna University Chennai application fee for counselling is Rs.1000 (SC- category) application date is in May month and counselling starts in June to July month, In the SC category cutoff marks to get government college is 88% to 90% for metallurgical department & also an application for counselling fees is very low compare to other categories after selecting a college in counselling then as per allotted date u need to admission in college by visiting.

Likes

Learning experience is so good and helps to gain right technical knowledge.
Good infrastructure to learn in the college campus

Dislikes

I hate writing so much of assignments in our field of study.
Food menu is acceptable in a limit not completely.

Admission:

To study this course candidate must take either two groups in their HSC as PCM or PCB. Then they applied for Anna University counseling and based on their cut-off Mark's score they selected their interested course. The application fee for counseling is 5000 and the date of application starts after the completion of their higher secondary exams. Reservation benefits are available in their scholarships based on their quota.

Students will join the college through the tnea(Tamilnadu Engineering admission). Eligibility of tnea(Tamilnadu engineering admission)is 12th std. No direct admission. 7.5 Reservation is available in the college.

Admission:

I have got admission through TNEA. The only way to get admission to this college is through TNEA. The official website is there for TNEA and we can find all the details like the application form and others on this website. In this exam, there is a priority for sports quota. Also many benefits for first graduates and also for handicaps. Through this exam, we can get admission to many colleges under Anna University if we have the eligible marks. The admission is based on cut-off marks only. There is no way for cheating or bribe. After the lockdown period, the TNEA exam was taking place online which was very beneficial for people far away from Chennai. First, we have to apply for the TNEA exam. There are a lot of YouTube channels that are guiding us in selecting good colleges. Many reviews for many colleges are available on YouTube. By referring to those videos we can get knowledge about that college and the course. We should daily check the updates for the exam. There is no improvement required for this exam.
