As I am still in the first year of my engineering, I have not yet officially entered my professional course that is Electronics and Communication, but of course this course if just great to know about how all the electronic devices work how to operate them and in here they have started the introduction of our course in the 2nd sem itself as it will make our bases strong

I choose the course Bachelor of engineering in E&In, I did choose this course as it is a combination of both software and hardware. Faculty was about 10 including HOD and students were around 2000 in this department. The faculty has tech in recognized universities and the teaching methods included ppt and videos were shown when it was necessary.

Campus placement was good at that time,once we come to the 7th semester means final year students are eligible for placement drive. they use to conduct inside campus also and outside also. they were trying to get 100 %placement, computer science department as 100% placements from last 4 years with very high packages .highest package is 20lakhs and lowest is 2lakhs. An internship with 5k to 10k.

i chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer. The faculty member of this college and this department are super good they use modern techniques to teach us and encourage us to do new things.The teachers are highly qualified in GSSS and in CSE department also. The term exams are timely conducted once in 6 times and it is easy to pass as the teachers use previous year papers and make us understand the concept easily.

There is a good training and placement department that helps students to crack the placements easily. They are lots of reputed companies coming to our college namely Dell, Juniper networks and many more. The highest package bagged in the year was to 19 lpa.

GSSS is very good in placements. We have companies coming in for hiring right from the 6th semester. Even in the tough times of Covid-19, many companies had conducted virtual campus hiring in GSSS. The highest package offered so far was 19 LPA by Amazon and the Average package is 3.5 LPA.

Students are hired as soon as they enter the final year and pre-final year students are given the opportunity for internships. DXC Technology, Infosys, Accenture, HP, Dell, Amazon, CGI, Capgemini, Cognizant and many more companies visited. More than 300 students are placed.

A good number of Companies visit our campus making Good Placement statistics. Students are given awareness regarding the Placements from the first semester and Training starts from the 2nd year. Pre-Final Years get internship opportunities which can later be converted to job opportunities. Final Year students fulfilling Company specific requirements are eligible for the Placements. For the current Graduating Batch (2021), The highest package offered is by Amazon with 19 LPA. Mass hiring companies like Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, DXC, etc. can have an average package of 3.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA. The Placement Department brings in the maximum number of companies possible to cover all students with varying CGPA. More details regarding placements can be checked through the College Website.

Typically seventh sem students are qualified for placements, but as of late companies visit for placements in sixth sem also.There are numerous companies which visit our college, for example, DELL, ACCENTURE, AMAZON, MYNTRA, JUNIPER NETWORKS etc.Students who are qualified will ordinarily make atleast 2 offers. Normal payout from situations is around 4.5lpa,highest is 19lpa.I have put in accenture and other two companies aswell. I lean toward joining accenture after my certificate as of now.

We students at GSSSIETW are very fortunate to be able to have such wonderful placements happening in our college even during these dry times. The placements offers are amazing and the average package is 4.5 Laks per annum. The placement cell of our college is the best, trying their best to provide the students with ample opportunities.
