The following scholarship schemes provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income groups. The names of all the scholarships for 2024 – 25 are mentioned below:

1)Students who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in the 10+2 pattern or equivalent. 2)Pursuing regular degree courses at colleges/institutions recognized by AICTE and respective Regulatory Bodies concerned. 3) Not availing the benefit of any other scholarship schemes, including State-run scholarship schemes/ fee waiver & reimbursement scheme. 4) Students with gross parental/family income up to INR 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for the scholarship. 5) A student changing his/ her college/institute of study will be allowed to continue/renew the scholarship provided the course of study and the institution has having valid AISHE Code. 6) For renewal of scholarship in each year of study, besides getting at least 50% marks in the Annual Examination, maintenance of adequate attendance of at least 75% will also be the criterion. 7) Beneficiaries/ Applicants under the scheme must apply online in the National Scholarships Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) for the fresh/ renewal scholarships. |

1)The scholarship is available to students for the first PG Degree programme only. 2) Only the students who are already admitted in the first year of the PG degree program in an eligible university/college/institution (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Institution’) are eligible to apply. 3) Scholarships to the identified students (as certified, verified by the institutions under this scheme) will be disbursed by UGC through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) Mode and will be transferred to the Bank account of the student.
