College of Engineering And Management, Kolaghat is inviting applications for a few vacant seats in the In-House UG/PG Admission 2024 for B.Sc/ BCA/ BBA/ M.Sc/ M.Tech/ MBA/ LLM programs. Candidates can apply from Oct 7, 2024 to Oct 20, 2024. While MBA applications will be accepted from Oct 10, 2024 till Oct 20, 2024. For more detailed information, click here.
The counselling schedule for candidates allotted seats in MAKUAT through JELET 2024 is released. The first round of counselling/ reporting will be held on October 13 – 15, 2024 and the 2^nd round of counselling/ reporting on October 18 – 20, 2024.

WBJEEB has released the WB JELET Round 1 Counselling Schedule for lateral entry admissions to the Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy courses. The registration and choice locking is open till October 6, and the Seat Allotment Results will be released on October 10. The last date for reporting and fee payment against the Round 1 Seat Allotment List is October 15.

The campus of college is so much attractive and i like it most.

Dislikes

Faculties is not so supportive. Requires a bit more flexibility

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is designed beautifully. It cover all the aspects from basic to advanced. I think subjects like biology doesn't have any impact in engineering. So instead of that some valuable subject must be added. There are exams semester-wise.

Curriculum can be designed in a great way from basics of 12th to basics of engineering. It is designed in such a way that you didn't even feel that you are BTech Student. Everything will be same as 12th in first two semester. And teachers are very friendly they guided us very well .

Faculty of college is very helpful and provide external information.
College keeps on conducting various extra co curricular activities.

Dislikes

The washrooms of the academic buildings are not hygenic.

College have a open and good environment. The transportation facilities is good
College campus is very clean. cold Water available for 24*7

Dislikes

The system of the Lab is very bad. It's too complicated with out any reason.
College website and attendance system need to updated

Personally, I love Computer science. Our university chose good syllabus. Yes, it is too large to handle, but at the end of the day they want to give you good knowledge in theory. This helps prepare our mind to solve real-life problems. exam date and timing need to improve. Exam questions are moderate but biassed. Sometimes a whole question paper is made from only one chapter. So we need to improve this field.

I rate this course 7 out of 10.I rate the faculty members 4 out of 10. Because of weak market value and competition. Now in this course competition is very high and for the AI the most of the students are getting unemployed.

I think that in this course we have a opportunity to show our skills and more easy to another course. The curriculum I really feal in the software development. In this course as I refer to improve the technology and have method of teaching as easy to know for each and every students can understand of its uses. In 6 months of time there will be a semester in this course and going for one or two weeks.

The college fees are less compared to other engineering colleges.
I have got a lot of good friends in this college. The people are very helpful and also the teachers are very helpful. Some teachers are very friendly.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college. There's not a lot of things in this college for a good college experience.
The hostel and mess fees are very high. That's why I am not a hosteller.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because getting into computer science and engineering is like getting into tech. A lot of opportunities open up if you have this particular course degree, atleast for me. And also I like this course and I am really interested in this course. This course curriculum prepares for the tech field, to handle tech related problems. And also it prepares us to create tech related products and solve tech related problems. I think the teachers should focus more on teaching the students with attentivity. I found that some of the teachers are not really passionate to teach or to create any interest about the subject. They are not even focussed about teaching effectively. But there are many teachers whose teaching methods are amazing and intuitive. There are a lot of exams in each semester. 4 CAs and then final semester. CAs are very easy but the semester depends on the question done by the MAKAUT University. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's hard.

College Sports Ground And College Campus.
Fees Structure Because Here Fees Per Year Is Low Than The Other Colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure is very good. There is specific lab of each subject. Throughout lab projects are given to the student to develop programming skills and also lanch new idea. Lab teacher also help student to complete them. The exams helds two time throughout semester and also every week class test will be held.
