Campus placements have generally improved over the years, but this year saw a decline with no companies hiring directly from the campus. Students are encouraged to pursue additional courses and explore job opportunities beyond the campus. The fee structure is quite variable depending on the mode of admission. Students admitted through the management quota can pay fees up to 6 lakh INR, whereas those admitted via KCET have their fees capped at 1.25 lakh INR.
At CMR Institute of Technology, students with ranks below 10,000 pay 75,000 INR, while those with ranks above 10,000 pay 1.1 lakh INR. Scholarships are available specifically for KCET-admitted students, and there are multiple forms of financial aid including scholarships, grants, and loans. Students also have the chance to earn extra income through campus jobs. Despite the recent dip in placements, there are notable opportunities, with some students securing positions at top companies like Amazon, offering salaries as high as 44 LPA.
