There is lots of oppertunity provided by our college ..
There are many programs organise by the different clubs in our college like eco club arts clubs rotary clubs.
In our placements civil students need to provide more oppertunity

Remarks:
Remote area will not find city facilities. There is recent availability of online food services Swiggy. But if you love nature, BIT sindri had 450 acre green campus and damodar river nearby for outing.

Admission:
Through GATE exam and counselling first we have to clear gate exam then we have to fill the form of bit sindri then after 2 months a list is published and selected students calls for counselling and then we get the result.

The college is situated in a remote location therefore it's quite isolated and the students do not have access to places like KFC and theatre.

What is your review of BIT Sindri now?

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
- The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
- BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
- There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
- The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
- Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
