Balancing academics, innovation and hostel life

Likes

The locality of the college, It's feel so good living between the mountains and there is a lake nearby, and fresh aur quality
The hostel Life, yeah I like my Hostel my life here , we are going to meet various types of students here, but the diversity is kinda low, because maximum students are from home state
The sports facilities, so after completing all college classes we have enough time to play sports, like we can play basketball, cricket, football, badminton etc , all students get a chance to play their favourite sports

Dislikes

Authorities are careless, they don't do their task fast, like in hostel we got broken almirahs, after completing 1st sem they are not fixed yet, and our wifi get broken, our wifi is still not working
Gender ratio is not that good, like in a single batch, there are 60 students and out of 60 there are only 12-15 girls, so it's average or not in your pov idk,
Smoking and drinking, yeah there are som manny addicted students are also living with us, they smoke and drink in the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have deep interest in cs , so I choose Cse here The course curriculum is same as the top tier 1 college's have, so it's kinda relevant, but apart from the relevant I still don't why we neet study 11th 12th pcm in our first year and EVs & english, but this is same for all colleges which are in India, so we can't complain about it

Good in Budget

Likes

Surrounding environment mountaineous region
Friendly nature of people, and my fellow students
Availability of market and shops near college

Dislikes

Hostel lacks some amenities, like water cooler and electricity sometimes feel
The placement situation in our college is not very good
Some faculty members are there for just name they do not know their subjects.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our colleges find their best to get companies to college but most of the company is they are getting the college are very small new startups and they also ghost people after taking assignments and do not reply most students must relay on of campus placements.

It's fine tho

Likes

The environment is great covered with greenery
Clubs and society are there so we can have events
There is an open ground badminton court and table tennis

Dislikes

Very less placement and untrained staff.
Not a lot of outside time only 2 hours per day
Not even on Sunday we have full day outing

Placement Experience:

Currently the placement is not that great here follow it used to be good 82 90% of the students got placed but last year and this year it's not looking good so you have to look for yourself for your placement

My college life

Likes

Teachers are well qualified and helpful and have a good teaching experience
Provide good opportunities in sports events organized in UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
The course curriculum is good and very easy for a student to understand basic concepts and develop his understanding

Dislikes

The structure is very old school it needs to be improved
Less social interaction because college is situated ina town so less opportunities than a city
Placement is average because less companie come to college because of its location and placement cell is not so active

Placement Experience:

Highest package was 14 lakh offered by TCS. From 6 semester students become eligible to take part in campus placements. Average package is 9 lakh Companies that approach are college are: TCS,Wipro,accenture,lenskart,nykaaetc The percentage of students after getting placed is 90 %. My plans after getting degree is to do qualify gate and take admission in a good IIT.

All about Birla institute of applied sciences bhimtal

Likes

Lush green campus with natural trees full of pleasant vibes. Every man is well equipped along with WiFi facilities. Some core Faculty is also very supportive requested to subject as well as other aspects
There is senior junior interaction but it should be respectful. No ragging is there. Campus is very beautiful. Since student intake is not very high, a good interaction is there among students as well as student and faculty.
All well qualified faculty is present. And special lab assistants are present.

Dislikes

Students have too early in timings and are restricted to ho or after that.
No variation among students so variation of thoughts does not takes place. Everyone is from technical background but it could be taken as a positive point too
No fancy packages recently offered by companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the curriculum of the course is decided by Uttarakhand technical University which decides were every college falling under it. You might a further line engineers can go in every field they can do anything so same is with us we have all round development here in engineering college and we are prepared for real life challenges. After b.tech we can go in various fields of our choice except medical we can early do everything.

Likes

The campus because of the nature like we can take fresh air,the beautiful mountains

Dislikes

The in timing and the restrictions that we faced and many of the rules.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech is so good as the student of btech is so innovative and creative.Engineering do the overall development of the child. The frequency and timings of the examination is 3 hour for external examination and 1 hours for internal examination.

Here the environment is very nice . Campus is full of greenery
Study is very nice. Professors are very dedicated
I have started socializing in comparison to my past self

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that developed according to the area we have
Here the clubs and society are very inactive they do not provide more exposure
Very strict internal marking .some professors are not that good and can't help us to solve are doubt rhat much

Placement Experience:

The placement of our colour is quite average the highest package this year was 5 lakh per year and 4 years back the highest package was 14 lakh per year . Lenskart , wipro and other companies also visited here. Almost 90% student's got placed. After graduation i want to do masters in technology

Likes

Studying here is nice and teachers helpful.
Very nice environment and nice view as it is a place full of greenery.
I started socializing after coming to this college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that big as we can have more building according to the area.
Extracurricular activities are not that much.
Some of teachers are partial and it is a bit difficult to ask doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First year course is very helpful as it gives us insight into every field and if we ever need to rethink our decision on the subject we are majoring in and the exams are held for a whole month which is a bit excessive and can be a bit tiring.

There are no activities held in our college

The placements are quite average the highest package last year was 7 lakh per year and 14 lakh 4 years back . The students become eligible from 4th year of their graduation. Lenskart , Wipro and some other companies also visited here. Almost 90% students got placed. I've decided to do masters after passing out
