Review of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Navi Mumbai

The placement here especially for mechanical engineering and instrumentation engineering are very good
Teachers and faculties are very well educated and always very supportive.
Campus life and fest here are also quite good.

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio especially for mechanical engineering is less, rather than mechanical engineering all other branches have nearly same girls to boys ratio.
Infrastructure is quite bad here, it gives you old school vibes. If they can renovate it our college will look more asthetically appealing.
Canteen is also not very hygienic and it doesn't have very much varieties of food.

Admission:

I choose this college especially for mechanical engineering, because it has really good placement for our branch. Another reason why I applied here is that it is near my house location. In Navi Mumbai locality Father agnels college is better than our college. If you didn't get admission in father agnels college than you can apply in our college for admission. For admission you can give jee and MHT cet exams. The eligibility criteria for MHT cet is 70 percentile for mechanical engineering, 80-85 percentile for information technology and 90-95 percentile for computer science.

Faculty is good, few of them are extraordinary
Average infrastructure, laboratory and library
Close to Kharghar railway station 5-7 mins walking distance

Dislikes

Far from Mumbai takes so much time in travelling
Need maintenance in various parts of college
Girls are less in number compared to boys chemical there are around 45 boys and 25 girls

Admission:

The admission is done by JEE or CET. I applied in ICT mumbai but had little less percentile so didn't make it. But there can be no comparison between ICT and bharati Vidyapeeth. ICT is a chemical engineering specialist college. Whereas here we just have bachelor degree.

Two of my professors are good. If you get selected under Dr. Bagal or Dr. Sona for project, then it will be an amazing opportunity for great exposure. But if you get any other professor then your project is basically a burden for you

Dislikes

Labs are not maintained well. Equipments are there, but they are old. Ans some dont work
Dirty washrooms, they keep it clean but there is always a sour smell. Have got UTI thrice in 3 years
HOD of Chemical doesnt have basic knowledge of the subject she teaches. Only reason she has her post is because of reservation. There is no professionalism in her.

Admission:

There were only a few college in Mumbai, and i wanted to stay in mumbai only. This one had high cutoff that fit me. Wanted in ICT, did not make it there due to my JEE score. The admissions process is simple for my college and the people help you well during admissions

College campus is very poor . The building is old and it's not even painted
The lectures are not properly taught and no clear plan of study

I got this college through cap round . So I didn't have choice. I had less marks in cet exam so I got this college in cap round. The admission process is easy . Based on your cet and jee marks through cap round you would get colleges based on your score and cut off list . Rank the colleges and apply in the list

The teaching is very supportive and friendly, We have lots cultural traditional events and also sports competition are conducted
Those who do well in academics and are overall good gets placement and internship
Curriculum is properly managed and divided into parts. Labs are top notch and well maintained according to latest requirements

Dislikes

Canteen should be renovated, I don't get place to eat food
Some rules should be followed like students play mobile games in canteen and because of that other students don't get place to sit

Admission:

I choose this college because I had no other option because I had low grades in cet so had no option But I think I made a great decision because the college is actually good Overall the college in terms of infrastructure, teaching staff, faculty, labs placement cell, office, principal everything is good

Placement cell and exam cell and other cells teacher are out very humble and helpful if u need any kind of help regarding any issue like admission, exam form or many others.
In my college, my function, days is also celebrate fresher party for junior and see off party for senior , Auto Expo is the day for those who love car and bike
Lecturer Are very good we have a TV type board instead of black board or white.

Dislikes

Signal issue is there only in ground floor
Canteen is not big enough but it's ok for boys
In summer, in college is very hot don't know why

I didn't apply any other clg I want my self in these college this is the best college I have ever seen cutoffs is little high but it's ok if u have 70% so it's good the environment of college in very natural

Dislikes

The cleanliness of the canteen and cafe area is quite disturbing.
The hygiene that should be present in washrooms is missing.
No such thing like auditorium or conference halls.

i got this college in the cap round of mhtcet in the year 2023. the cut off of my college is quite high because of its way of teaching and other study related aspects. apart from the study related aspects, there are not as much fests and activities happening when compared with other colleges.

the teachers are great , they make learning easy to understand
the auditorium of college is good lots of seminars are conducted
the campus is great , feels good to be there as a student

Dislikes

the canteen food is good but the cleanliness in canteen is not as expected
the playgrounds are also big but they are only maintained while sport days
the classrooms are also good but can be better

Admission:

there are different exams like mhcet, and Jee entrance exam cutoffs are considered, I had a cousin who was a professor in college and I got admission from Management Kota. but the cutoff is not that high, it's easy for the average student to get admission to college.
