A story of hostel and college

Likes

Security is provided at good level for girls
There is military hospital for practical level course
Infrastructure is good of campus and college both

Dislikes

Study are not as up to mark according to fees and rating
Mess fees is high as comparable to last year fees
Equipments are not provided for pre practice of the student's

Admission:

This is army College which have 100% placement of students with top security and there is military hospital for the exposure to the practical procedure and work that's why i choose it There is an exam before the entry personal of army can only give the exam and have their entry in the college

Likes

students here are quite decent given they are all jee qualifiers.
Since its an army college, exposure for forces and defence services is quite alot.
mess's food is pretty above average, considering other colleges.

Dislikes

gender ratio is 1:7, which is way too less even for engineering colleges.
fees is a bit too much as compared to other colleges.
fines are imposed by the academics in every single bad circumstance.

Admission:

i chose this college because i could not get much marks in jee, thus had this option only. the admission process is pretty simple, you applies for admission directly to college, then college makes a merit list on your rank and allocate different branches as per merit.,

Likes

The quality of students here are good, afterall the top 5% in jee, atleast COMP/IT.
The coding culture is pretty great here, considering the rank we got.
The senior to junior interaction is pretty decent.

Dislikes

The culture is AIT, where you gotta wear formals for 2 3 months, and there is an hostel intime varying from 8pm to 11.30 pm depending upon how the situation is in the college.
The academic block here imposes fine for literally anything, reasonable or not.
The college's infrastructure is below average, there aren't enough hostels to accomodate every single student here thus some students have to leave hostels and become day scholar(on the basis of cgpa)

Admission:

I chose this college because of the rank I got in jee. I should have chosen sgsits indore. Fees here is pretty high compare to other college. Admission is done by applying here separately. And merit list is made out of registered candidates. And get branches as per ranks.

Likes

since it is an army college so a student have to be very disciplined .it inculcates discipline and punctuality among students.
the sports facilities are also good .students are encouraged to join sports team and play.
the hostels are kept clean with regular housekeeping and proper sanitation.

Dislikes

the boys to girl ratio is very poor as it is seen in most of the engineering colleges.
since colleges is located in the outskirts of pune so going to shopping and entertainment spots take time.
some students report slow WIFI , especially during peak hours

Admission:

i chose this college because of disciplined environment and good placement opportunities compared to other private college.since it is exclusively for army perssonnel children it provides peer group with a shared background.yes i did got a rejection from bits pilani as the cutoff was very high and competition was extremely high.i should have prepared better for bitsat .for applying to ait pune you have to be army personnel kid candidates must have completed 12 th grade with pcm .admission is on the basis of jee mains rank.the admission process starts online and very smooth.there is no management quota ensuring transparency and fair to all students.

Ait pune: let's look after too it

Likes

There sports culture is just to good as they give extra care of your health by conducting morning PT and sports akriti
All classes are smart classes with educomp facilities
Bond between senior and junior is the best thing which you can get here

Dislikes

Compulsory 75%attendence is demerit as thick block some opportunity for students
Too many regulations in the college making college life not that intresting
Outpass system little difficult to get especially night outpass

Admission:

I give jee mains and advance and got 95 %ile at this percentile this was the best college which I can get it has far better placement then other private colleges especially for girls it is too good .it has an average package of 14 lkh and highest package is 51 lkh last year in microsoft. it focus both on academic and other co circular activities. For admission in this college u have to apply for jee mains and then fill the form of ait which is out in Jan or Feb then on merit based u get your branch and seat. Cs is the most preferred course in the college .

Abroad industrial training in like usa, New Zealand, Australia ,France and etc
The sports facility provided in my college is very good which is the main part of my college for the fitness of my body we have a cricket ground football ground basketball court volleyball court badminton court
I like about this college we have a two restaurant and two kitchens one bakery and one front office lab and housekeeping lab

Dislikes

The campus is too small and there are some facility which I don't like like

Admission:

I choose the Army Institute Of Hotel Management over the hospitality college because of its strong reputation for regular practicals training direct industrial placement and the unique advantage of learning discipline and professionalism within a military aspiran t and the professionalism given by the campus aihm should out for the development including not just a culinary scales but service ethics leadership which are required in hospitality industry

As there are many events going on in the campus so somtimes it is difficult to manage attendng multiple events here but at the same time if you know your priority then its good .

Admission:

I choosed this college because it has tha ARMY tag in its name and ARMY means discipline and actually the college has military like rules and regulations which is the best thing i feel is important and about safety so this college is also very safe. the admission process is a little long but all the steps are clearly communicated by the institue when you apply for it and all the details are avaliable on the website too. Eligibility exam is JEE Mains and cutoff is 95 percentile for Computer Engineering Branch and overall admission process is good and easy also

The campus life is a little difficult due to hard schedule.
The rapid schedule makes us more prepared for living life as a hotelier.
The faculties are also good and studying is good here.

Dislikes

The senior faculties are quite rude with the students.
The hostel here is mostly broken since it was constructed in early 2000s.
The sports equipment allocation is not good.

The college focuses more on sports as compared to other colleges
College provide 100 percent internship in Abroad ..90 percet of our seniors are currently doing their job in foreign countries like USA , SINGAPORE, MAURITIUS, FRANCE, SPAIN
Facilities provided in the hostel are first class and Smart-boards are installed in every classrooms . The faculty is also very good

Dislikes

The mess food is not so good. I mean if u are eating it for health then it is good but if u are eating for taste then it is not so good
The outside facilities are very far away from the campus.. u have to go almost 1-1.5 kms to buy necessities
The campus is small and fighting is boys hostel is common

1) I chose this college, because this college send almost 70-80 percent of students for internship in foreign countries and it's placement is also good as compared to other hotel management colleges . 2) I didn't applied for other other colleges. I have given one NDA attempt but couldn't make it there because my communication skills were not so strong but then I took admission in this college bcoz this college is all about communication skills. The college helps in improving the communication skills of every student. 3) You have to apply from the college website i.e www.aihmctbangalore.com. The eligibilities are: . You have to be 10th and 12th pass-out . Students of every stream can apply for this college. . minimum percentage required - 50 percent in 12th. . If u are an army ward then only u can apply for this college. civilians cannot apply for this college The college posts a ranking list in their website and If your name is in top 90 students then u will be selected for this college
