campus placement takes place in the 7th or 8th semester. Wipro HCl g motors star wire TCL etc brands provides placement.
for our placement, around 16-18 companies visited campus and around 70% of students got their job. The highest package was 800000/- per year and an average of 300000/- offers per annum were given to students. profile given for student was electrical engineer, electrical supervisor, field engineer, support engineer offered.
I got a job on campus and after that, I plan to MBA in a technical field.

Placement Experience:
Placements are very good as lot of companies visit here for placements like HCL,Nokia,Erricson,Wipro,TCS. If you are good enough and donot have any backlogs then relax you will get a job. There is no Alumni group here and you will personally have to talk to them for any job referral.

I have done internship in PDIL,a govt of india based entity and done my project on human health monitoring system which was appraised by the faculty. The Placement of the college for Electrical stream is below average than other streams like CSE. Only one company visited for placement in our campus for electrical engineering and the company was software oriented.

No, there is no internship provided by our college, at least till the time i was there it wasn't there. The college has now become a private university so they might be offering internship and stipend now.

Companies like Infosys,TCS,Wipro,Impetus,Sapient and many more came for placements and recruited many talents. Some of the recruitment drives happened in other colleges where our students were invited. Indian Army also came to our college and selected a few of us as their officers.

Companies like HCL, Infosys , Wipro regularly came to our college for placements. They used to hire on a large scale level picking up around 25% of total candidates, these companies offered standard packages which were offered to all the btech graduates throughout the country, it was around 3.25 lacs. Companies like Samsung also came and offered higher package around 6 lacs .

Placement was good but I never get the chance to sit in the Placement Drive because of MY BACKLOGS. Approximately all of my friends were placed. Job opportunities are good and our Training & Placement officer Mr. Tyagrajan was very good in bringing up the companies to the campus and also for the off campus drive.
