I want B.E. in IT or Electronics but due to no availability of seats, I have to choose either a computer /mechanical /electrical. so, at last, I choose electrical. 1 teacher was assigned for around 35-40 students batch. all the teachers are well qualified with M.tech in their fields. with the teaching ability is 90%. as per their effort, I am a good engineer now. term exams are half yearly based and the passing is not too difficult but not to be easy.
Curriculum is well structured with proper weightage to both practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is made in such a way that students get enough industrial exposure. Syllabus is well updated and meets the both industry's needs and student's capabilities. Faculty is well qualified and expert in what they teach
The fee structure of the college is Feasible as it was below 50,000 at that time and hostel fees was also quite reasonable which was 48000 at that time.So in my opinion the fee structure was reasonable at that time. The slip was provided on fee submission therefore the transparency was also remarkable.
At that time college fees paid to make a deposit in bank account in name of college it's too expensive.libray Charges and hostel security extra deposit by the students and after completing thier course we can withdraw it back. But College fees is expensive for me.
The course curriculum is decided by the university and it hasn't changed for the past 50 years, i guess. There should be some major changes in how education is imparted to students in India. The curriculum still teaches you subjects like microprocessors, CRTs, oscillators which are not used now.
It is bit on the higher side which is around 1.5 lacs p.a. But, at the time when I completed my engg., it was around 50k per year. So, students taking admission now have to take a decision keep this into consideration.
Fees was average around Rs 40000 pa. At my time there were some colleges that charged 60000 as tution fees. The fees was payable half yearly. Hostel fee was 10000 and bus fees 6000.
The fee structure was fairly reasonable when I passed out, it was 50k per year for tuition fees .
The college fees was cheaper if I compared to other colleges .But I never bothered that because this was my father's department to handle that I was not much aware of the college fees and about the financial things. But whatever it was I enjoyed. Especially my father was happy or mad on me I don't know know because most of the time I used to be in hostel although I was not a hosteller.
Fee was not expensive, For complete course they charged Rs 2,00,000. This was also in tranches like Rs 20,000 as registration and then per semester Rs 45,000.
