Yes, there is placement, albeit to a lesser extent than for the IT branches. Core employers do hire from the Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering branches. However, a good number of students have taken up jobs off-campus or are seeking further education, such as M.Tech or MBA.

AVCOE is associated with a good number of recruiters from varied branches. To begin with, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, and Tech Mahindra, as well as other IT and software companies, conduct drives regularly. Furthermore, core engineering companies in the manufacturing, construction, automotive, and even the electronics sectors also recruit from other branches like Civil, Electrical, and Electronics from the degree programs. Bosch and L&T and some local industrial companies are expected to participate.
